This bamboo mat is exactly what I needed. We switched from traditional bath rugs because, as renters, we kept having problems with mold. No matter how often we washed or replaced them, they never lasted. This mat solves that issue while still letting water dry quickly. Look at my photos- I purchased this bamboo bath mat 5 years ago and took these photos today. It is in my master bath and has daily use from two people. Thats a minimum of 3,650 showers later! No mold or mildew-I love this mat! I purchased it because my dog liked to pee on my cotton mat. This was intended to prevent that. Of course, it did its job but I never dreamed I would love it so much or that it would be so durable. I honestly expected mildew on it within a few months- it has no mildew ever! It adds a level of sophistication making my bath feel spa like! Matter of fact when we sold our home a few months ago my buyer asked me to let it go with the house-I told her where she could purchase her own on Amazon 🤣I kept mine!

Very sturdy and attractive! The step out of my guest bath tub is very big and surprised folks who are not used to it. I was afraid guests might fall. This wooden mat fixed the problem making the step out of the tub a normal size. It is sturdy and attractive…so happy with it!

This mat is very slippery when wet. You have to wipe it down after each use as it will turn black on the underside. I would never purchase this again for the price.

I never thought that I’d want a bamboo shower mat because we’re conditioned to think that you need a soft mat when stepping out of a hot shower. I like soft mats, don’t get me wrong. But i don’t like wet mats. I don’t like having to wash mats. I live alone, so i forget how quickly these things get soggy when multiple people are using them a day. I decided to try bamboo since i wanted something different and i was intrigued by bamboo. It’s sustainable, durable and the listing said it dries quickly. Reader, all three things are true! I couldn’t be more thrilled with this product. It looks great and i love stepping on it. The only drawback is that you will need to dry underneath if you get the model with slats like i did. After faithfully lifting it for a week to dry my floor, i purchased a stone mat to go under this one. Now I’ve got a winning combination. I’m never going back!

Nice quality item. Sturdy build but not too heavy. Plastic feet on the bottom cover the screws to prevent them scratching floor but also stops slipping.
