Convenient little fountain pen.
This pen arrived in the kaweco gold tin. The pen itself is gorgeous. I have several kaweco pens so am familiar with the way the nib writes and I enjoy it. The pen itself is perfect as an EDC, to jot down notes and other short writing sessions. It’s so thin I personally cannot use it for long form journaling, but that wasn’t it’s purpose when I purchased the pen. It’s sleek and cute and fits anywhere without adding bulk or weight, but it feels sturdy and durable. The time it takes to screw the lid to the back of the pen might bother some, but it worth the little extra time to me cuz it’s so cute and I love taking it out and writing with it in a pocket notebook I carry everywhere with me. I already had the one in steel so I had a feeling I would really enjoy this one as well.

Masterpiece of Efficiency in Design
I had my eye on the Liliput for a while. I have a brass Kaweco Sport which is the main pen I take along with me daily. But I wanted something more discrete to tuck away in a suit or dress shirt pocket for work. The antimicrobial brass was also a selling point.I am so impressed by this little pen. Upon arrival, I was amused by how much smaller it was than I expected. But it transforms into a full-size pen when the cap is posted. I have included photos of this pen next to the Kaweco Sport for comparison. The international standard sized cartridge really tucks neatly into the barrel so there is no wasted space. This pen feels quite light in my hand, though it is solidly constructed. It is surprisingly comfortable to write with, even for long periods.I am able to easily swap the nibs using Kaweco’s 060 nibs, also compatible with the Kaweco Sport. The nibs wrote smoothly, even using fine or extra fine points. In my experience Kaweco inks can write a bit dry and are prone to hard starts when using a fine or extra fine nib. Instead, I use wetter inks from Noodler’s (using the syringe method to replenish spent International standard ink cartridges) in my Kawecos. Noodler’s inks are the perfect compliment to Kaweco’s fine or extra fine nibs. They really make writing with my Liliput smooth and consistent with no false starts or skipping. After only a few days, my Liliput is starting to build a handsome patina. The roundness of the pen makes it exceptionally prone to rolling off a desk, but the clip (easily available separately) fixes that. It also looks great on the pen. I consider the clip to be a must-have with the Liliput if you plan on taking the pen along with you regularly — and I suspect you’ll want to.

Small, well-made fountain pen with good writing characteristics
Bought this to keep in the pen loop of a Rhodia notebook cover. Fits perfectly and provides a handy pen. The nib is very smooth, not stiff, and has excellent ink flow. When posted, it is quite comfortable in the hand and belies its Lilliput name. Accepts the small size international cartridges. Kaweco offers an assortment of lovely colored inks. The Levenger company has many lovely colored inks in compatible size cartridges. If you’re super picky about ink you can purchase a converter, or empty cartridges that you fill with your favorite inks using a pen syringe.

An awesome tiny fountain pen
About the size of a fisher space bullet pen and a similar style. Very cool pen. I met a fellow pen addict at work and he showed me his and i had to have one. It writes kind of like a pencil, giving you feedback. Just a really cool brass pen. It does smell more than other brass pens I've used for some reason. Keep that in mind if that smell bothers you. Neat pen though.

Wonderful narrow travel pen
The Lilliput fountain pen is a beautiful tiny travel pen. I found myself wanting to carry it around. Don’t leave it unattended on uneven tables as any pen without a clip can roll out.I bought my pen in brass color. It is made with Eco brass and looks slightly lighter in color than real brass. Eco Brass has the benefit of being lead-free.The lighter tone develops a darker patina. Brass can leave an odor on your hands. It is not strong enough to be an issue for me.Kaweco’s Supra and Lilliput fountain pens have the same height, when the Supra is not using its middle section (see picture).Using a fine or extra fine nib looks nice on paper. Fine nibs use less ink. Yet, if you are a fast writer or using the pen at work like me, you might find losing ink after a few words. Having a pen that doesn’t work is quite annoying. I suggest avoiding fine nibs for better writing experience, although some papers might not handle well the extra flow of ink.Kaweko, a German company from 1883, makes solid writing tools. To my surprise, Kaweco is making their pens in China. Don’t believe me? Turn the box around and read the label. At least the Eco brass comes from Illinois, USA.

very small
This is a sleek, nice looking pen. It is very compact, which was a limiting factor for me upon receipt. Once I realized that the pen's cap could not be posted, it became a deal breaker. The usable length of the pen is only about that of a golf pencil. It would be practical for a lady with small hands to carry this in her pocketbook but as a man with average or slightly larger hands it becomes unusable for writing.

Pen was clearly used and sold as new
Got this as a gift for a family member. Opened it and it looked a bit off the brass looked great but when you took the top off it clearly had a patina on it. - the person we gifted it too said it was probably used. They wanted to keep it as is and not deal with sending it back and forth (they live out of state) but it was a bit embarrassing and disappointing.

Perfect EDC!
I bought this as a pen for my pocket organizer I carry daily and I love it! It’s so small, the build quality is too notch, it writes amazing, super smooth and light.
