Does what its supposed to
Product worked great for adapting an older set of gauges to a Mini Split system. Specifically a Senville 48k Ducted split. Very self explanatory product with different options for different angles.

Mini split adapter
Adapter works great and is comparable to the bigger name brands like jb. Held pressure fine with my fieldpiece probe.

Fix before use
Based on what others have said, and the design itself, I went ahead and modified it before using it, aannnnddd (drum roll please), IT WORKED GREAT.On one of the short ones, and one of the long ones, I replaced the Teflon (white) seal with the included softer seal. But, based on the way the male end was affixed to the tube, I still didn't trust it to seal: it is not soldered on -- appears to just be pushed into place. SO, again, before even using it, I went ahead and put some anerobic-curing post-assembly sealant* between the tube and the male fitting. I put it on the outside, and it wicked down into the joint. You can see in the attached photo where I put it. END RESULT: When I did use it to evacuate a system, the vacuum held for about 20 minutes with no indication of leakage (the vacuum gage didn't budge over the 20 minutes, nor when I turned the pump on again at the end of the 20 minutes.)I wish they had just provided the 8 seals as part of the kit, without installing the 4 Teflon ones. The seals are EXTREMELY difficult to remove. The only way I could get the Teflon seal out was to use an Exacto knife to cut completely through the seal (from bottom to top -- risking putting a scar/leakage path in the brass), then to pry one of the edges away from the brass enough to wriggle some needle-nose pliers between the brass and the Teflon. It was a major pain-in-the-hand (I ended up injuring my finger with a sharp instrument -- recommend holding it with pliers while wrestling with it)! Once I got the Teflon seal out, installing the soft seal was easy: just pushed it in with my (uninjured) fingers.*Permatex Threadlocker GREEN, Penetrating Grade 29000 or LocTite equivalent.

Did fit my mini-split allowing gauge to attach.
Used to get gauge on mini-split connector. Mini-splits use different size ports than normal HVAC gauges support.

Works fine, great price.
I only needed an adapter to do a one-time recharge on my mini-split, and this is just fine for that (and there's an extra for next time, if there is one). Huge props to the person who showed how to remove the white piece and replace it with the green gasket. I was able to pull the white one out with needle-nose after unscrewing the pusher and didn't need a dental tool, but for each his own. It made a great seal. You'll lose a small amount of gas when detaching it, but it's very small. It was reading roughly 50 psi when I hooked it up, I recharged it up to around 110, then I detached it and lost a little gas. When I reattached it to add a little more, it was still reading close to 110, so it's not a huge loss.

Gets the job done!
Must have!!!!

Incorrect seals installed
Do not use with the white insert. It prevents the fitting from opening the schrader valve and you will not be getting a vacuum into the system. The insert is very difficult to change. I would recommend a different higher quality fitting
