It really works!
I bought this to empty the tray under my refrigerator. It works perfectly! Super easy to use! Water flows like crazy.Just two notes: 1) You need to use a drill; it is a mechanical pump, not an electric one. 2) You must keep the pump at least in the same height of the water source (below is much better). It is physics, basically.

Worked fine once, sort-of the second time, not at all the third
The first time I used this I was pleased. It self-primed and drew water up about a foot and moved a few gallons of water in a reasonable amount of time. I did see the glob of grease go out the outlet that others have mentioned. A week later I used it and it had trouble priming but I eventually got it primed and able to pull a gallon or so of water up about a foot and out. The third time used it I had no luck using it even after priming. So I managed 2 uses out of it, but the second was difficult to get started (I immersed the pump and hose in a bucket and ran until it primed, then moved to the water I needed to pump). Maybe if I took it apart and packed it with grease it would work again? I am going to give up on this one and look for something better.

Simple and Easy to Use!
The product worked well to remove water where a 1/3 HP water pump is too big for the task. The small, clear hose works if there's no debris that can clog it. The hose diameter should be the same on both sides or use a smaller diameter hose on the "IN" side. It worked well for my purposes. I used a chorded drill. I did not try a battery powered drill. I only had to remove about 3 gallons of water.

Good pump with sufficient flow rate
It worked for me and I feel the flow rate is pretty good. I used this pump to circulate vinegar into my tankless heater to clean the buildups. When I open the package, there was no cord. I was wondering how to operate the pump if there is no power connection. I had to read on Amazon again to realize that I have to use an electrical drill to drive it.First I tried with a bucket of water. The pump spit out black grease. I was fortunate that I did a test with water first, otherwise those grease would get into my heater. After cleaning the grease, I pumped the vinegar. At first it seemed not working. I realized there was air in the pump, so I lifted up the inlet hose to let vinegar flow into the pump first, then everything worked fine.

Pumps water, but leaks everywhere
Works fine for pumping water, but it leaks a lot of water in several places. The cheap plastic casing is the cause of the leaks. Appears the screws were overtightened at the factory and cracked the plastic.

It works well
I purchased this drill powered pump to help winterize my boat. It worked perfectly to flush antifreeze into water lines where gravity alone didn't work. The only down side to the pump is removing the gunk type of lubrication it comes packed with. Based on other reviews I initially I ran water through the pump to clear some of the grease but had to resort to rolling up paper towels and a Q-tip to get out the remainder. Once the pump was cleaned it worked perfectly. I used the liquid I'm working with to prime and lubricate the pump on start up.

Only worked for 5 or 10 minutes
I tried to use this to drain a waterbed mattress (one with foam and water inside. It worked for about 5 or 10 minutes, then stopped sucking. Apparently because the water was no longer in the line. After it no longer worked. Waste of money.

Great for an emergency
I purchased this drill pump/hose combo a year ago during the Toilet Paper Shortage of 2020 as a prep for potential calamity due to COVID. We are full-time RV'rs and needed a way to transfer water into our fresh water holding tank from a non-pressured water source like a 5-gallon water can. Did not use this thing till yesterday due to the snow and extreme cold here in Texas from Snowvid 2021 as we lost water in the RV park. And it worked perfectly! Saved the day as I was able to transfer 30 gallons of freshwater into my tank in about 15 minutes. Glad I have this handy device!
