Breaks the monotony

I bought this to colour during lockdown. I love shopping, looking into shop windows and going for lunch with friends on trips round shops, so thought this book would be a way of soothing the sadness of being unable to do this.Unfortunately the scenes have no people in them: no one sits at the tables outside the cafe, or looks into shop windows, walks along the street or queues outside the cinema for the matinee. In short, this is a town in lockdown! Not exactly what I wanted.If you don't mind the absence of life (except for one kitten sitting in a doorway) then the items in the shops are fun to colour. It just reminds me too much of current events.

So many wonderful pictures to choose from. Really enjoyed colouring this and can’t wait to do more

If, like me you prefer an image that makes sense rather than squiggles and squirls, then you will love this book. Lovely clear images of streets and shops we would all like to visit as they look idyllic. Most of my hundreds of books are published by Creative Haven. I have been colouring for over 40 year, not just since this latest fad. Paper quality is good unlike some brilliant image books that are simply ruined by the cheap grainy paper. Many people ask me about best pencils, I always reply, its not the pencils, its the paper you need to watch.

Great therapy for my post-Lyme recovery which still keeps me from my former more intricate crafts. …and is beautifully relaxing after a long day at the office. Creative images are some of my favorite coloring books — Nice Paper for colored pencils, nice detail, love the perforated pages, fabulous quality for the nice price point.

Muy bonitos diseños, me hacen sentir en un pueblo de tiempos atras, eso si muchos detalles para entretenernos y colorear. Me gusta que la hoja es gruesa y no hay preocupación que el proximo diseño se arruge o o se pinte.Lo recomiendo y felicidades a la creadora de los diseño.

I really liked this coloring book it was so detailed that you weren't constantly colouring the same part until your Ink was half gone. Move on and colour the next part of the scene it makes for a nice colourful scenery. If that's how you like to colour then you will definitely like this book. I'm not sure how much it cost, but I know it wasn't that much, because I don't like to gamble and hope I get what I've paid for, but I know I did with this one. Not dissapointed that's for sure!!👍
