Colonial Candle Unscented Taper Candle, Classic Collection, Indigo, 8 In, Pack of 12 - Up to 6 Hours Burn

I have been buying these candles at a local boutique in my town for over 25 years. They were practically drip-less and lasted for hours. A great candle. The boutique closed and i needed more candles so went on Amazon and found them. Bought two packages each of 10 inch and 12 inch. Within less than an hour and a half they were burned three-quarters of the way and in less than another half hour they were done. Wax was everywhere. on the table...on the placemat...and hanging in an abstract design from the stick. I called the company and they said they probably weren't the real thing. Shame on you AMAZON.....

We're weird. For 20 plus years, we eat dinner by candlelight. For quite a few we dealt with candles that burned unevenly and dripped like crazy. CCC classic (flared base) candles burn slowly, and though NO candle is dripless, these drip only due to uneven air currents in our dining room, and no more than we can pick off the table and candleholder with a fingernail. Burning 3-4 suppers a week, they last two weeks or more. We have had the occasional funky one, with a wick spliced in the middle, or placed wrong, but no more than one out of a hundred. We do make sure to order them during hot weather; our winter order from the factory more than a few years ago arrived with many of them broken. So, I order in summer now. We also like that they have *unscented*.

I ordered these specifically for the orchid color. I know electronic images do not always accurately depict color, but in this case, the colors shown on Amazon are much different than the color I received. The color in the Amazon images looks more royal purple / orchid, however the actual candles are plum or mulberry-colored, which is a more burgundy-looking color. The candles themselves are fine, but if you are looking for a purple color, do not buy these in orchid.

These are great, high-quality candles which I recommend without hesitation. Unfortunately, the order department is messed up. I ordered ivory, and got a different length in red. I sent them back and re-ordered ivory, and got wheat (albeit in the right size). At that point I gave up and kept them.

I love the style of this candle and it looks so eloquent on a dressed table, and the white ones are great for spring and summer. I really like these and the price on these was reasonable. Thanks so much for sending these timely. You made my spring. I will give a few as gifts!!!

I have bought these for many years. I love bright white candles that don't smoke or drip. I noticed that the quality have gone down. But this last delivery was aweful. There is a marked shift in quality. The color is not bright white but dishwater dirty white, and they seem softer ie would burn faster and drip more, several candles are scratched. Just not what it used to be. I bought 2 oxes so, 24 candles for almost $70 should be perfect in my opinion !

Candles came quickly but I was disappointed with their quality. I lit roughly a dozen candles on Christmas Eve and they burned at different rates and much faster than Ikea candles! I'm still cleaning up some of the mess from the fast burning ones as I didn't expect them to burn down so quickly or drip so much. No, they weren't in drafts!

I have purchased this brand of candles in the past so I knew I would be pleased with them. Beautiful color and quality. I will purchase these again when I need more candles.

On the photo these candles appear to have ridges at the end of the candle which helps the candle to stay firmly in the candle holder. This is why I ordered them - for the ridges. However, when they arrived, the ridges do not exist. I would like a refund please.

These look like beautiful candles. However, I ordered red candles. The order stated red candles. One side of the box said red candles. The other side said green candles. The candles were green. Unfortunate. Three star rating because they LOOK great.

At least two candles are broken. No cushioning in the box to prevent this. Very disappointed.
