He offered a free replacement which arrived today. Now I know what I could have missed. The fig and wallnuts spread is absolutely divine. Nice organic produced spread, well ballanced taste, a joy with matured cheese. I've long not seen such a customer care. I've even received a free jar of strawberry jam, speachless I am. Small companies make a real difference. Broken jar was not the Chateu Rouge's fault. Even so they tokk full responsibility and tried to please the customer. Thank you. And, both were horrible !
