This unit has a metal reinforcing bracket that almost guarantees it will never have to be replaced again. Includes hardware (except for nuts) such as the rubber button cover for the locking switch. Also includes double sided contoured tape to transfer the Toyota emblem to the new garnish.

Obviously it is not real carbon fiber, just a print. it comes without the makers mark, but does come with the adhesive to relocate your existing one to the replacement. Keep your original studs and nuts. Even with the metal handle box, the handle still flexes more than I like, I will add large fender washers next time I work on it.

Bought this for my 2nd gen Prius. It's well crafted and durable. I suggest watching a few online videos for help with the install.Was disappointed by the front/back adhesive that came with the item. It was not strong enough on one side and I had to apply special glue to keep the badge from falling off.Other than that, definitely a great purchase if you (or your overly powerful friend in my case) rip off the rear door latch!

plastic things break on cars after 14 years so I wasn't surprised when my wife said she had broke the lift gate handle. This one looks good. Seems solid. Had to look online for directions.One thing I worry about are all the kids challenging me to race now that I have this fancy after market part on my Prius. I keep getting smoked. Do they make NOS for Prius?

This is a perfect replacement for our 2005 Prius. The original broke in several places and we were having trouble opening the door. This improvement over the original is strong and I’m sure it will outlast the vehicle. Our car has 195,000 miles and this is one problem that won’t happen again.
