Best Bulbs for Salt Lamps Ever!!
I have 7 small/meduim Salt Lamps that need a 15 watt, relatively small light bulb, which is impossible to find in any stores where I live!! Since the measurements were given at the site, I knew they would fit all but one of my salt lamps. I now am using them in 6 of my salt lamps and they are perfect - giving off just the right amount of light and heat. I have not been using them long enough to tell how long they will last. (I keep my salt lamps on 7 days/week, 365 days/year, so I need a long-lasting bulb - time will tell.) I will write an update in 6-12 months.3/2016 - Better late than never!! It's been about two years since I bought them, and these bulbs last at least 18 months...some have been in two years and are still going strong. They are built to last!!

Creates a Gentle Warm Glow in My Salt Lamp
The six bulbs were bubble wrapped protected and in perfect condition upon arrival. I mention this because the thought of shipping thin glass items makes me cringe a bit as I think of how fragile a light bulb can be. It was great to see them arrive safe and sound; however, I know that Amazon.com would exchange or accept the return if any of them were damaged.Okay, so what about this little 15 watt bulb? I have a Himalayan Salt Lamp and it's 25 watt bulb burned out. Not only burned out but got so hot in there that it dried out and crumbled the electrical housing piece! I needed to locate a new cord assembly that would hold a bulb inside the lamb as well as bulbs. At first I was concerned that 15 watt just would not be bright enough. I mean seriously...15 watts?!?!? I mean, right?!?!?Nonetheless, I looked and looked and read reviews and after a few days of deliberation (be glad I am not in a critical position of power because I can take a while to make a decision), I literally sighed (yes "sighed) as I ordered a replacement electrical assembly that "clipped" into the Salt Lamp and these little bulbs. Okay, why was I "settling"? Because I could not find the electrical part that was the same as what I had (the lamp sat on top of it and it had legs that kept it up off the cord, the cord had a dimmer control, and the 25 watts created a warm glow). I figured first off the cord might get pinched, second the lamp will wobble now as it is propped up on one side from the cord, and that 15 watts would be dim and not give me a glow in the room.Let me tell you now, I was pleasantly surprised to find how my concerns were only that and not a reality. The lamp does sit on the cable but it is so insignificant that once the lamp is set in place, I do not even see it (turned it so cord is closest to the wall) and guys.... these 15 watt bulbs create a gently warm glow that fills the area just like the 25 watts did. And the best part... I can leave the lamp on over night, all day, day after day (and I do!) and there is no (zero) heat that is damaging the electrical unit! I just now went over to the lamp and held my hands to the Lamp (it has been on over 10 days straight) and there is a subtle warmth to it only (as in slightly above room temperature).Great bulbs that fit the Himalayan Salt Lamp (E12 socket), long lasting, and they do not over heat when left on for long periods of time.UPDATE 30 NOV 2015I am happy to report that I am still using the very FIRST bulb I took out of the package! It has been over 15 months and I have literally had the salt lamp on 24/7. I am very very pleased with this product. I am also attaching a photo to show you how my lamp looks today.

Works well.
I bought this set of six bulbs, and so far only one has burned out. I thought it burned out rather soon after I placed it in the lamp, but i will track the rest as they are needed to see if that is the case with all of them. I like the shape because the light reaches higher inside the lamp than the squat ones I used before. It gives off a nice full glow.

Perfect fit for my Himalayan Salt Lamp!
Item just as described. Perfect brightness to my Salt lamp. Packed securely. Prompt delivery. Fair pricing. Would definitely buy from seller again. They produce a very nice glow to my Salt lamp. I was using night light bulbs (4W, or 7W when I could find them) which produced ample lighting but was not putting the lamp to it's appropriate use. These 15W bulbs generate just enough heat so the salt is barely warm to the touch. I was hoping the 15W wouldn't be too bright but found that it's perfect! Highly recommend.

Great replacement bulbs for salt lamps
I purchased these to replace the bulbs that came with my Himalayan Salt Lamps. THe bulbs that came with the lamps only lasted a few days so I hoped that these would work better. I put one in all 4 lamps and I run them for more than several hours a day, and so far so good...not one burn out. I like the longer length of them as well because it distributes the light better inside the lamp. Im very happy with these and will order another box so I have spares on hand.

DOES NOT FIT ALL HIMALAYAN SALT ROCK LAMPS!!!
DOES NOT FIT the HemingWeigh Natural Himalayan Rock Salt Lamp 6-7 lbs with Wood Base. The first bulb I put in the socket immediately blew out and had a white smoke inside the glass that swirled around. The 2nd bulb stayed lit but when I went to put it back in the lamp, the top of the bulb hit the inside of the lamp so the lamp is sitting there wobbling because it's too tall (which means the bulb is currently touching the inside of the salt rock). These bulbs are twice the height of the bulb that came in the lamp. Now have 5 bulbs I have no use for and need to go to my local hardware supply store to find what I should have bought from them to begin with.

One bulb last about 2 months or 1,440 hours. In California it cost's about $2.20/month on our bill running continuously.
These are super cheap and burn out often but they are also super inexpensive. I feel "meh" about them to be honest. We use these in a pyramid himalayan salt lamp. My girlfriend likes to keep it on 24/7 and we've replaced 3 bulbs since I purchased this item 6 months ago.In California it cost's about $2.20/month on our bill running continuously. (Based on average cost per kWhr of $0.20 in PG&E territory)

Great bulbs, last a long time...
Although purchasing them to go with my Himalayn Salt lamps was a good idea. The bulbs last such a long time, it will take decades to go though this set. Which, is both a good thing and a not so good thing. The Salt Lamps use so little power, I can leave it on and these bulbs don't get too hot, which is great. I am very glad I purchased them.
