Great item for anyone with a dog who rolls in scat. Dissolves the horrible scent without having to use water. Great product. Awesome seller with quick delivery.

My dog took a direct spray to her face/head/neck. After several baths with the recommended baking soda/hydrogen peroxide mixture (BS/HP) - each followed by a Dawn bath and then a dog shampoo bath. And I mean, I did two of the BS/HP baths back to back, followed by the Dawn the followed by the dog shampoo at the time of the incident. Then I repeated that process again 8 hours later and then again each day for the next three days, then several spot baths of just her head/cheek/neck where the stink was holding on. I got temporary reduction in smell, but definitely not gone.I got NonScents skunk odor remover hoping it would be the final step to rid my pup of her gates-of-hell stink. But, OMG!I followed the directions. I shook the bottle, pressed the button firmly and got the foam it says to expect (some people, I think either failed to shake or failed to press the button firmly). I dabbed it on my pup's stinky spots and the smell just exploded! I thought maybe because it was wet it was bringing the stink out, but once it dried it would improve. It did NOT. Seriously, We are 8+ weeks since the skunk encounter and she STILL has stink on her head. It's not bad if she's dry and has been inside. But if she has been outside, baking in the sun or out in the rain, she comes in wafting that smell all over again. It's much improved with time. But this product did not help at all. Do not waste your money on this. You will have a much better success with the tried and true BS/HP recipe.I think we have failed on that front only because she took a direct spray - wet/oils on her fur at the time and it has just "baked" into her fur and I will have to wait for it to grow out at this point.

it did not work as well as I had hoped. It did take several applications and I’m still not sure it’s completely gone.Luckily, it’s just the head so it’s not too terrible to keep reapplying

I recently tried the Skunk Odor Remover Head & Face Foam, and while it did an okay job, it fell short of my expectations. The foam application is convenient, especially for targeted areas, but the lingering skunk smell persisted. I had to reapply multiple times to achieve satisfactory results. It's a decent option, but there may be more effective alternatives on the market.

My dog got sprayed directly in the face. I first tried a bath with hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and shampoo while I was waiting on this product to arrive. It worked slightly, but the smell was still strongly there. I gave her a bath again before this product arrived. And I could still smell the skunk. After using this it’s completely gone not a trace so far she smells like a chlorinated pool. I don’t mind it’s so so much better than the skunk. What a life saver

My 2 little dogs were sprayed in the face by a skunk. I was worried about using hydro peroxide on there face and around their eyes. Fortunately, this product worked great! I was able to control where I wanted to place it without any problems. The biggest plus was both dogs didn’t mind me massaging the soap into the smelly area. I used to product twice on them and the skunk smell was gone!I would recommend this product without hesitation.

After 4 baths, still smell of skunk. Didn't work, unfortunately.

Unfortunately for my 2 VERY friendly and curious dogs, the skunks who like to frequent our yard do not want to be friends with them. This is not our first rodeo and we have been skunked at least 5 times since we moved into our current house. I wish I had this product years ago when we moved in. We always use the hydrogen peroxide/baking soda/dish soap mixture but this recent skunk spray incident got on my dog’s faces/heads. The baking soda mixture was difficult to put on their faces and I was constantly worried about potentially getting it into their eyes. Used this product out of desperation and it was super easy to use around the eyes and was very effective. Followed the directions and it worked first try. As much as I hope we never have another repeat skunk incident, history tells me we will and at least we will be prepared for it this time with this product. Highly recommend for pet parents who live near wildlife.
