Fat Daddio's Stainless Steel Round Cake & Pastry Ring, 2 x 2 Inch

I've only used it a few times so far, but it feels sturdy enough to last a long time and works great.

I'm writing this review after using the rings several times. : ) I found absolutely nothing to dislike about their build quality and performance.I bought three to bake miniature cakes (after properly prepping the sides and wrapping the bottom in Reynold's nonstick foil, of course) up to 375F and found they work beautifully for that purpose.They're "seamless" with a lovely finish, have a beautiful, hefty weight to them and the edges are flat and even without being sharp.I haven't run them through the dishwasher yet, but that's only because I'm usually already doing a pile of "hand wash only" and they're just too easy to wash up quickly at that time.In fact, I was so pleased with these that I also invested in and have used three each of the 3" and 3.5", all of which are thoroughly consistent in quality and performance. I'm looking forward to exploring other uses for them besides 'cake pans'.For the build quality and performance, I'd say these rings are an outstanding value.

Fat Daddio's never disappoints! These were great for the small, layered cakes I am doing. The metal is sturdy and high quality. The form is perfectly round.

Basically this is a slice of stainless tube. But it is not terribly over priced, and it is convenient to buy. The edges are not clean. They could have spend, I don't know, maybe 30 seconds with a wheel to smooth the edges. So I had to do that myself. The rough edges make it harder to clean.It's about 18 ga, rather thick, and does not easily deform. I used it for making mini cheesecakes, it worked perfectly. Since it appears to come from actual tubing, the roundness is pretty much spot on. The weld seam is visible but does not get in the way.Kind of annoying that somebody put a ridiculously gummy product sticker on it; took industrial alcohol to remove it.

I just purchased two cutters and noticed that the 2.5 x 2 cutter was not round on one end. These do appear to be of higher quality but still lack a bit of quality control. I did not find any burrs at all, they are sturdy and the welds were near perfect. Time will tell however, if the metal will remain rust free. One thing of note, a picture with the diameter/ height would have been helpful. Also, I would have purchased a set of various diameters (with the same height of course) but I did not see those available.

It’s very sturdy and high quality. Really good value for the money. I’ve been using it non-stop for over a month and it’s just like new although I’m baking daily.

I have a nacho/hot fudge pump that was missing the trivet. I couldn't find a replacement so my husband ordered this for me. It fit perfectly and keeps the hot fudge or nacho container raised so it doesn't burn. very happy with this purchase.

I had been looking for these exact size for several years. So happy to have finally found the right ones. I will be buying more.
