Well engineered but it's poorly designed imitation
What all coffee capsules have in common is that they allow the coffee machine to puncture a hole in the plastic on the top, and as a result, the pressurised water maintains the pressure passing through the coffee. The hole at the top of this capsule is fairly large, and they have dispensed with the fine perforated sieve that I Cafilas equivalent capsule has on the top; as a result, the water just passes through the centre of the capsule rinsing the coffee ground rather than brewing it. What you get is not espresso.There are two spare filters provided; the third filter is already fixed (permanently) into the capsule; I was unable to remove it without breaking it into pieces, which I did not attempt. It begs the question; what was the purpose of having two spares?There is no rubber ring washer between the top and bottom of the capsule.
