We have a large home, lots of people, and a big septic system. I've been used to having it pumped out every 18 months even though I've used bacterial products throughout the time we've lived here. I started using this stuff more than 2 years ago, faithfully flushing three little scoops of it down the toilet every Monday morning. Our bathroom sink emanates sewer odor now and again. My husband poured it in the sink, and within 1-1/2 days, the odor was gone. Unfortunately, we feel the need to repeat every 2 weeks. Not so often for the garbage disposal. Still, it’s worth the price not to have a home that smells of sulfur or crap.

This product is easy to use and completely eliminated the sewer odor due to a cracked sewer line under the slab. We treat about every six weeks when there is even a hint of odor. Next morning there is no trace of smell. Impressed!

I did a treatment in all my drains before i left for 5 days vacation. I have black iron pipes under the foundation and copper pipes from the sinks to the iron pipes. I noticed the bathroom sink drains a lot better. I recommend doing this if you leave for a few days.

This has a highly effective action for preventing septic/toilet blockages. It contains more than a typical bacterial/enzymatic product, hence the higher price. It has no smell and becomes a suspension when you place it in warm water, so there is no unwanted inhalation of stuff, like some products have. I recommend that people first pour 4-6 buckets of warm water (not hot, since this may kill the bacteria or destroy the enzymes) down the toilet, before you pour this in, to warm up your system in the winter or during colder weather. It needs a decent temperature, probably not less than 20C (68F) to be effective.
