Knock offs, not genuine Stride Rites. If the size isn’t printed on the inside...they’re Chinese knockoffs. I only noticed this because we had two pairs in our home, one from Nordstroms and this pair we ordered, Big difference in quality, sewing and overall feel.

Be sure to take a close look at these shoes when you receive them - we love Stride Rite because they are incredibly high quality and last forever, but I will only buy them directly from the company from here on out. We received a pair that were obviously fake - poor craftsmanship, flimsy sole, some obvious differences from the photos on Stride Rite's website for the same product, information printed very crooked and uneven inside the shoe. And the biggest tell that these were fake was the fact that they came in a plastic bag instead of a Stride Rite shoe box. We trust this brand, so if you get something that isn't high quality like this, send it back. Amazon needs to do a better job of protecting their partners and customers.

These shoes are terrible quality. The stitching is coming unraveled after less than 2 weeks of wearing them. Stride Rite admits the shoes are defective, but will only replace them if I prove I've destroyed the shoes. That would mean destroying my son's only pair of shoes and needing to buy a second pair of shoes until a replacement arrives. For almost $50 I expect a pair of toddler shoes to last longer than a few weeks.

I bought these shoes two months ago and my daughter ONLY wears them at the park. After roughly 30 minutes of wear per day for two months the seams are coming undone! I expect $40 kids shoes to be a lot more durable.

My 12 month old, and 5th child, had to start wearing shoes for school. Others made him turn his ankle or squeezed his chubby little foot but these are perfect. He is walking everywhere now. I would not normally spend this much on baby shoes to be perfectly honest. I am glad I did, though. I am a changed woman.

These shoes are the perfect toddler shoe. Easy to get on and off. Helps build the muscles in the feet due to its flexibility and softness all around. The soles are sturdy enough for hard play but so bendable to allow your toddler the freedom he or she needs when learning to navigate on their own two feet. My son has XW feet too so it's a challenge to find shoes for him that are this simple to get on and off. Ok to clean with a damp cloth too! I bought 5.5 and a 6 so I have them in case they run out.

They shoes are perfect for my fat-footed son! His feet really aren't wide, just super thick. The closure adjusts perfectly to his feet. Since the day they arrived he's been trying to put them on himself. He wears them all day without complaint or trying to take them off. Pricey, yes, but no other shoes will fit. Stride Rite is just a quality, well-fitting shoe. A+

I was a bit skeptical to pay $41 for baby shoes but these Stride Rite Kellen Sneakers are amazing and well worth the price! They feel sturdy, have rounded edges along side the shoes (as described, which I love - less falling), good support with memory foam, and best of all they are velcro! lol My 2 year old son (size 6) currently wears Kobe's and they are laces so it's pretty annoying to tie and untie all the time. He wore these for a few hours the first time and never complained about his feet hurting during or afterwards. This shoe is just overall perfection - you will not be disappointed for your little one :)UPDATE:After wearing it for a month DAILY to school, parks, and Chuck E Cheese - I'm happy to say it still looks good as new and best of all, my son does NOT complain about his feet ever hurting!! I cannot stress this enough. When he used to wear his Nike Kobe's, he would complain 90% of the time at night about his feet hurting and I would have to rub poor feet til he fell asleep. Since the 1st day of wearing Stride Rite sneakers, he's not once complained. What a heaven sent shoes. Very much worth the $40-50!!NOTE TO STRIDE RITE:Please make these rounded edge sneakers in toddler size 7+!! PLEASE!!

We had a black version of these shoes that we passed down to my youngest. He will receive these ones as well. Excellent for walking babies!!!!
