Worth the money.
Very good emergency weather radio. When in alert mode, everything shuts down except a red flashing light so it doesn't waist the battery. Also an AM/FM radio so you can hear local new alone with weather. Came in handy with the winter storms of 2026.

You NEED this!
I just went through Hurricane Beryl, and what was shocking was that the power went out for such an extended amount of time. Even in Cat 3's, we've had power the whole storm or only lost power for a few hours. I've never worried about Cat 1/2 storms because they've been super mild with a little flooding, but this was insane with 2.5 million people with a loss of power. This storm happened July 8, 2024, and it's now the 17th as I write this, and I have friends/family STILL without power. So as you can imagine, sitting in the dark, no radio, no power, no way to charge things or know what's going on was super frustrating. In life, its best you learn from your mistakes and better prepare for the future, so this was definitely a wake-up call on a lot of things storm related. I cannot express how useful this "would have" been, and I'm hoping I won't need in the future, but a good emergency item to have. The LIghts: Very bright! Walking down a dark hallway, everything is lit up. Both the reading/and main light have two settings high and low. Compass/Strap: Both useful if you were maybe camping or you need to walk room to room or place to place. I might suggest adding an additional strap so you can carry it like a purse or crossbody if you need to travel a ways. SOS: Very loud! You can't just sit and listen to it, you press that button and your neighbors will hear it! Useful if you need help. Radio: I got a lot of static initially, but nothing the tuner and antenna did not fix. Radio volume can be set really high as well. Love that you can plug in some old school headphones. The NOAA stations are good if you like to hear monotone continual weather information. Charging: Super convenient. I 100% have been purchasing all my emergency equipment based on the ability to charge in at least 2 methods, solar and USB, and this has five!!! They all work really well. Some faster/slower than others, but it's awesome to know that this won't lose power even if you have no sun and no batteries. Score: 10/10, would definitely recommend to anyone who camps, or lives in an area with a lot of storms or power outages.

Pretty cool. Always good to have an emergency radio
pretty cool radio, works as well as any other radio. tuning is pretty simple, it's about the size of a iphone 13 Pro Max, maybe a bit bigger. there's a crank on the back of the device so you can manually charge the thing, which i think is neat

Wonderful Radio!
I bought this for any situation that I might be in; storms mostly. It is small but powerful. We take it camping, long hikes and even put it in my truck when we go on trips or when I know there is a storm coming and we are traveling. We keep it charged and ready to go if needed. I know if we get stuck somewhere we can get updates on weather, send an SOS, keep a phone charged and have a flashlight, even if you don't have power, it has solar power and a hand crank. So far, it seems durable and reliable. We have never needed, yet but I am glad we have it, just in case we get stuck in a snow storm or lost in the woods.

4 different ways to power it.
Awesome little radio, like that it can solar charge, wind up, battery charge, or be battery powered. very versatile.

Perfect for that special someone
My brother-in-law has a particular political leaning and I was stumped as to what I could get him for Christmas. Enter the NOAA Weather Radio! This item proved perfect for the occasion, as well as for any future revolution. While NOAA has face budget cuts, this radio still provides excellent emergency access to the airwaves. Furthermore, it has charging capabilities in the event of a grid collapse. Its cool bright green body is extremely durable, and will be sure to last any long term siege. 10/10!

Absolutely Great!
Good sound and volume! All the radio bands come in loud and clear. The lights are bright and a great feature. In fact, this item is packed with features in a compact size!!! A huge value for the money!!! The battery holds a charge! I played the radio for two days straight, with occasional lights and the battery charge indicator barely moved down. Great hand carry strap. Very high quality.

A Great radio, BUT..........
I would really like to give this radio 5 stars but just can't. On the plus side it is a well designed and made unit, nothing flimsy or cheap about it. Definitely quality. All the functions work well and as a camping tent radio it will be a great addition to my tent. The issue I have with it is it's poor performance on receiving AM radio stations. I compared it to a Panasonic RF-2400D (a current model) which I have that performs well on AM. I live in central Connecticut and the big 50,000 Watt New York City AM stations come booming in on the Panasonic but are not received at all on this emergency/weather radio. To be fair, the Panasonic is strictly an AM/FM portable without any of the special features of the emergency radio but if AM is important to you consider the Panasonic, a solid performer. This emergency radio worked very well on FM and the weather channels. I did not try the short wave features at all. Poor AM performance is not unusual for radios these days and if it's not important to you, then you will really like this little radio.

Tiene tantos botones y hace tantas cosas que tendré que estudiar el manualillo unos días para sacarle su rendimiento. Es muy interesante todo lo que ofrece y el tamaño que tiene, pero la verdad es, que espero no tener que usarla NUNCA....
