Works great, stays great on shower tiles, *make sure to read install directions*
I bought these hooks to use in the shower for the kids to hang their wet bathing suits so they could drip-dry. I got tired of their suits hanging all over the shower rod and then on the floor when they went to use the shower and needed to close the shower curtain. By hanging them on the back wall, even if they didn't remove them before showering, they wouldn't get wet again. At first, the hooks didn't stay...and then I read the directions! Now, they are so tight, I can't even move them! They are almost too tightly secure! For the reviewers who couldn't get them to work, I wonder if they read the directions thoroughly. When I tried to just stick them on, they fell off. However, I remembered reading another reviewer saying that they had to put them on with water and followed the directions. I couldn't agree more...as long as you follow the directions for installation, they are very, very strong! I am ordering more today.

They are really handy!
I am a college freshman and I got these hooks to be able to use in the shower as the changing area of the shower in the community bathrooms only have one hook, and the floors get too wet to leave anything on the ground. The hooks have been amazingly handy when I use them. I am able to keep all of my stuff off the floor and they have never fallen off the wall when I have stuff on them, which is great. My only complaint is that the pegs that attach the hook to the suction cup comes out fairly often and so they come apart, which is annoying to have to put together while holding an arm load of shower supplies and towels. They do not come apart when they are on the wall, or holding my stuff, which is good. It is just annoying to have to put them back together all the time. That is my only complaint about them. Other than that, they hold on nicely, and hold a good amount of weight; especially for the price! I have been encouraging other freshmen to get them.

Mine seem fine.
I have some heavy stainless measuring cups & spoons hanging from two. It's been about a month, and they haven't budged. I can't move them, either. I have them stuck to the melamine on the 2012 IKEA Expedit shelves which I cleaned, along with the suction cups, with Restore The Earth glass cleaner (the best - gentle, thorough, and no streaks!), pressed the air out from behind them as if I weren't going to flip the lever, flipped it, and then let them do their thing. I was/am a little afraid they might warp the cheap shelf side.[Edit: I can't say enough about having an absolutely oil-free & smooth surface. My measuring cups did take a tumble, but after I'd just done some *hot* cooking and had just prior was doing some sinfully greasy cooking. Set of four stainless cups on the medium-sized cup for about 3 months with regular on-&-off action. I used a bigger one, and I was glad to have the nudge to do a thorough cleaning. They are touchy, really, but if you don't overload them and you get it just right, given the price, I really like them. If you want a $10 hook, go get one. Actually, I got one, and it fell off the melamine, too, but I had 5-6 pounds of steel hanging from it.]I suppose if the formula for the "rubber" is off, even just a little, or if it's colder than 78-degrees Fahrenheit or so, they might not work as well, but I'm entirely happy. A video review would look like a still shot.Second Edit: They eventually (five months or so) fell off the Ikea melamine, and now only stay put for a week or so. I can't take a star, though, since suction cups either need really fancy plastics engineering, or a properly smooth surface. They're great on the 'fridge, on glass and on fiberglass. I replaced them on the melamine with 3M adhesive hooks (but I only trust those for about a year when I replace the sticky strip).

Get Hooked
I bought this set of hooks because it was bought by another person who bought the same squeegee I bought. I assumed that person was going to hang the squeegee in the shower on one of those hooks. I was wrong. The hooks do not work with the InterDesign Squeegee. The hook part is much thicker, and sticks out much farther, than the photo shows. The result is that hanging the squeegee from it makes the squeegee stick out about a foot because the squeegee handle itself is thick. Most showers are too small for a squeegee standing out about a foot. Besides, it looks awkward.Unfortunately, I didn't discover it wouldn't work until I had affixed the hook to the shower tile, and now I can't get the hook off of the tile. I would be pleased the PowerLock really works, if the hook itself were usable. You might have a use for it, other than in the shower, which is why I didn't give the product fewer stars. You can't get one of the hooks out of the package without destroying the package, by the way. And just be sure the hook is the shape that will hold what you want it to BEFORE you affix the hook to the wall. The PowerLock really works!

Great Variety Pack. These Really Are Stronger and Much More Capable Than Regular Suction Cups!
We have tile with a slight texture in our shower that does not allow normal suction cups to stick. These however have worked great. They do come off after about 2 weeks on the wall, but it is easy to re-stick them where needed. I never trust anything too heavy with suction cups anyways and I think that applies even here. If you are attaching lightweight or at least non-breakable things then you should be good. This variety pack is nice to have. I can confirm that the largest size hook will hold up to 2 lbs no problem.

These Really Work
These are working really well. I was a bit skeptical, having tried other shower suction cups but this locks into place and holds firm. It's really nice having the assortment of sizes. It was more than I needed but I'm sure I will find a use for the others.

Not much suction
These hooks keep falling off the shoer wall, the suction does not hold much weight.
