Stopped working after the 2nd day! Horrible shoes. Horrible company!My 7 year old spent his hard-earned money to buy these shoes. He has been wanting them for about a year. He eagerly chose these shoes and then waited and waited for them to come. They FINALLY came and he was thrilled! The lights were impressive - bright, multi colored options, rechargeable, and soooooo cool. He was extremely excited to wear them to school. He stopped everyone to show them off. On the second day, though, he came home from school saying one didn't work. We tried charging them, wiggling the cord to see if there's a short, switching charging ports -- all to no avail. He was so disappointed. He cried when I told him we had to send them back.As for the company, I tried contacting them several times. I am getting email responses, but I suspect that they are computer generated. They are brief, and fail to address what I have asked.I can return the product, but I have to pay the shipping! Really?! THEY sent me a faulty product, but I have to pay to return it. Time, energy, and money wasted.If I could give this experience a zero, I would. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!Update- it cost us $8.00 to mail them back, and the company did NOT refund us the money for the shoes!!! 😡 So we are out the cost of the shoes, the cost of the shipping, and all we received was a whole lot of frustration!

I don’t like writing reviews, however, I bought these in August and by October one of the sneakers would not light up anymore. I only wore them four times. I reached out to the company to see if there was something I could do to try and get it working. They replied promptly with instructions on what to do. I did what they suggested but it still would not work. I reached out once again to let them know the suggested action did not do the trick and was there anything else I could try. They replied and said no there was not and that they would refund me $3. WHAT?! I am so annoyed right now. I will be reaching out once again to see about getting a replacement. Will update review once I hear back from them. I will say that the look of the sneaker is very cute. The lights are really bright and fun. Shame they only lasted 4 uses.

Product is poorly made because you can see the glue at the front by the toe tips but I over looked this when we first received the product because my son just loved that the shoes lit up.My son only wore this shoe a few times (3-4) and the right shoe no longer lights up. I've tried charging for a couple hours but it still seems broken.I'm feeling disappointed because I know he'll be sad about this.

My daughter loves these shoes - but I wish I would have known before I purchased them that the remote does not come with it anymore. It was listed in the description before I placed my order and it even has it listed on the manual that came with them. Emailed the seller and they advised it doesn’t come with it anymore-so double check before you buy!4/10-My daughter has probably worn these shoes a total of 20 times - NEVER in the rain or near ANY moisture, and only worn indoors - only to school twice. For some reason one of the shoes has quit working and won’t charge or anything. Being that I know it hasn’t gotten wet or been damaged in any way by my very cautious 7 yr old, I wish there was a way I could return or exchange these for a working PAIR. It’s upsetting that I taught her to take care of her things (especially these shoes that she begged for) when they just end up messed up without her doing anything to them and actually being extra careful where and when she wore them. Hoping to find a legit replacement with some type of warranty for things like this that seem to be a result of poor craftsmanship and quality.

Glowed only two days. On the third day, they stopped reacting to the switch. They glowed constantly and went out. Do not charge and do not shine.How shoes can be used. The backlight does not work. Very upset. Our son cried for two evenings. He really wanted glowing sneakers. I had to order in Germany. It is a pity that in the US there is no high-quality footwear with backlighting.

My 8yr old daughter really likes these shoes. The two stars is because only after a couple of wears (she doesn't wear them a lot) one of the shoes dies while the other one stays lit. You have to maneuver the plug in order for the one shoe to charge. I have charged these shoes overnight and that one shoe will be dead in a few hours (she doesn't leave them on continually). There's also a bulb that fade in and out. The remote is fine and it comes with a battery. I didn't expect these shoes to last forever but I did expect them to last more than a couple of wears.My son has the Qkettle brand and they are awesome.

When my son first got these shoes (that he saved up for with money he earned) he was SO excited. Where we live it rains A LOT so he doesn't get to wear them hardly ever. we have had them for a few months now and he has worn them a hand full of times. I have followed the charging instructions to a T, and i have always been the one to attach and detach the usb. all of a sudden, one shoe wont charge, and the other has random lights that flicker and or change to a different color ( if they both worked this wouldn't be a big deal) Anyways, i know they aren't expensive shoes but i was hoping they would have lasted longer than they did. Im just sad for the little boy who LOVED these shoes.

My son loooooooves these!!! He calls them, "my energy light-up ' shoes. We bought them for an end-of-2nd-grade-school-year gift for having no office referrals, doing exceptional on Star reading and math statewide exam, and getting awards on award day. They capture not only kids' attention, but adults as well with all the different colors and ways the color lights are displayed. All the kids want a pair and all the adults say, "Don't let my child see them because they will want a pair!" I thought at this price if they are a bad product then at best he could just knock around in them this summer and at least just toss them. Not shabby at all! So far no problem with them and well worth the price!
