This is a great product! Smells like a salon grade product, in a good way-very pleasant. I’ve repurchased the product, as I’ve noticed less hair loss, and healthier looking & feeling hair! I intend to keep using it!! The only negative thing I have to say, is the conditioner is very thick and I have to take the cap off to get it out. However, a little bit, goes a long way! Definitely recommend.

Worth the $$$
I've used this and before this was using the aveda invanti system. The aveda set which was like almost $140 altogether had me losing 40-50 hairs per wash. I think I was actually losing more hair. W this andalou set I am losing between 8-10 hairs per wash. I've used it a few times now and results have stayed consistent, I'm losing way less hair. I'm officially hooked! I hope I can finally start repairing my hair. My tip- the shampoo is a little drying. I've tried mixing a drop of the conditioner into the shampoo and it works amazingly. Washes out just as well, I lose minimal hair, it just makes it softer and my hair less squeaky clean. I am prone to an irritated scalp and this cleared my scalp irritation with a single use, itchiness gone as well. Also I appreciate that the conditioner is actually moisturizing and detangles

Cleans, softens and has a nice aroma
Just started using this but is not drying and leave my hair feeling soft. Most shampoos make my scalp itchy but this doesn't do that. This is an early review and hope that result continues to be excellent.

Good price, but so-so products
The shampoo is okay. It tends to dry out the length of my hair as it lathers up a LOT so I don't like that. The conditioner is the worst part as it makes my hair feel oddly flimsy, like it's been stripped of oils or something, and it tends to lose something of it's natural curl and quite a bit of volume too. I really don't like it at all - even a cheap dollar store conditioner has a better effect on my hair. Ugh. The only part I like and that may be working (other than _maybe_ the shampoo) is the serum. I really wish it was the older version though, because that version worked better, I think. Also, it had the texture of water (the old one) and was very light and actually gave a lot of volume to my hair (which is great to make it have a thicker appearance while you're waiting for it to grow) and smelled great. If I remember correctly, it also had stem cells from a certain European apple that was known for keeping well/not rotting for extremely long periods of time, but I'm not sure this new stuff has that in it. Either way, it doesn't have the volumizing effect that the older version did, and that's disappointing. The only reason I gave this three stars, then, is because I do seem to notice some baby hairs growing in - the kind that end up falling out before they reach more than about two or three inches, that are oddly white and black and very fine like cat hair. I know from having used rogaine type products before that these hairs grow in and fall out before new, more stable growth occurs, so I'm hoping that's what's happening here. I'm going to try to stay positive and if this ends up working very well, I'll let y'all know. However, in future, I'll probably only be buying the serum and maybe the shampoo. The conditioner really does pretty much suck for my hair, but other people with a different hair type and texture may find they like it.

Purchased from Whole Foods on whim and I think I'm sticking with it
This was on sale from Whole Foods (through Amazon Prime) at half price so I bought it just to try it out. At first I wasn't a huge fan of it because its difficult to squeeze the thick conditioner out of the bottle, and also, there is not much of a scent. However, after using it a few times, I realized my hair has lost its frizziness and feels naturally smooth and soft! I've been in an endless cycle of using products to detangle my hair but they all have some form of silicone. This conditioner has none of that and also is 99 percent derived from nature. I have thick but very very damaged hair and I think this conditioner has a good amount of oil to moisturize and tame my hair. Note that I don't apply it on my scalp or roots.

DON’T BE FOOLED
I don’t know why I’ve used this product for so long, it’s been 4 months now and I was hoping I just needed to give it time to work but I’m pretty sure this product set has made my hair loss even worse. It smells like old people, and it leaves my hair feeling STRIPPED DRY. I usually put a serum at the ends of my hair after towel drying and even when I use that serum all over, it still gives me such a hard time to get my hair brush through my strands and pulls out even more clumps of hair. Does nothing for moisture at all, my hair gets staticky at the ends, and zero volume or shine. Andalou products are usually good but this is their worst one by far. I’m never buying this again and I want a refund.

Smells great. Has a decent amount of lather for a ...
Pros: I love Andalou Naturals products as they use safe ingredients. Also I have very sensitive skin. Even products that are meant for people with sensitives sometimes bother me. I was not personally using this product. My husband is, but I have used once one a trip without any issues. Also I like the way it smells on him. The shampoo generated a lot of lather without much product. This is impressive since most of the natural shampoos do not have much lather. The lather was easily rinsed out. No residue on hair. He believes it has stimulated some hair growth and says he his hair feels thicker. Cons: Husband has no complaints about this shampoo, he loves it. I saw some people said it dried out their hair. He uses this in combination with the matching conditioner. He has long wavy/ curly hair. Overall: Decent price compared to some other hair thinning or hair growth shampoos. Nice smell. And noticeable results. We will continue to buy it!
