This is great-- there is a bit of range in skill level within the book itself. Nice arrangements.

Beautiful songs and straightforward sight reading.

This book (and volume 2) is a nice way to ease your just-barely-music-reading students into the classics. It begins with very short, mostly hands unison pieces and increases in difficulty up to early intermediate level. This book could be sufficient for 2 or 3 years to supplement a good methods book course.

There are about one million pieces that could included in such a volume and Agay has chosen wisely. Good for elementary level players.

This book contains a nice mixture of classical pieces for children to play. I found the pieces appropriate for a first grader through 5th-6th grade depending on skill elvel.

Great selections for my students

The pieces sound great and are challenging to the brain and fingers. However, not too complicated for a beginner.
