DJI Naza-M Lite Multi-Rotor Flight Controller System(Include LED, PMU, GPS)

After switching from an APM 2.8, my quadcopter immediately flew much better despite me not changing any of the gains. The only gain adjustment required was an increase in the vertical (altitude hold) gain. After having to do tons of tuning and troubleshooting on my APM flight controller, I was shocked how well the NAZA performed out of the box. Unlike the APM, there is very little customization/configuring that can be done (no waypoints, telemetry, etc.), but it's a worthy trade off for most uses because the NAZA is a more robust and trustworthy system, in my opinion.One note for Windows 10 users: You will need to disable driver signature enforcement and manually install the drivers to get it to connect to NAZA assistant. You can find guides on Google for how to do this. This is Microsoft's fault, and otherwise, the setup was very simple.

Great flight controller for the DYI drone builder. I have two drones I put together from scratch. The DJI controller kit is the best I have seen so far. You have to down load the DJI Naza-M Lite software to you computer. There is a slight learning curve but, once you get everything working it is easy to set up and use the Naza-M lite. Note: The software does not work unless you have the Naza-M lite powered up and plugged into you computer. I just plugged ALL the parts in the kit together (no drone or other parts) and hooked up a battery then connected it to my computer. That way I could learn the software before I built the drone.

This is the NAZA LITE flight controller, best price I could find!! It works great for the entry level inclusive flight control system. I used this on a scratch build X525, and I have been very pleased with it. Being new into Multirotors it does what it is supposed to do, if you're looking for expandability and feedback such as on screen FPV display this is not the unit, but if you are looking for a simple flight controller with hover features this is it. To use all of its features you will need a transmitter with 3 position switches and a dial if you want to mount a gimble on your Multirotor.

Great flight controller. Easy to install and many features that are useful. My old flight controller was a CC3D and it never wanted to work. With this flight controller, everything is easier to install and run. The only issue was installing the software onto my windows 10 PC. There is a few videos on YouTube that helped me and they explain how to install the software. In the end, I would definitely recommend this flight to controller. The return to home feature also works great.

Do yourself a favor and google "Naza-M GPS not recognized", "Naza drifting", and "Naza flipping" before buying this product. Unbeknownst to me the internet is riddled with people desperately trying to figure out how to make this thing work. After weeks of research and frustration I finally got it stable enough to where it would fly relatively stably. By the way, the trick (other that the questionable method of hacking it and installing different firmware) is to let it warm up for five minutes before flying, but you won't find that in any official documentation. After the third flight, however, it stopped recognizing the GPS unit. Amazon was not helpful because I had missed the return window (because I had spent weeks getting the thing to a point where I could actually get it off the ground and test the GPS only to have it fail). I know DJI makes good products, but this particular one is not worth the money or frustration.

I would recommend buying the Naza-V2. It is a lot easier to fly with as well as the fail-safe actually works. I lost a drone because the fail-safe for the Naza-M Lite didn't activate when triggered by the controller.

sadly the website doesn't support its platform anymore cuz the released their new DJI Naza and this one considered as an old version, however this controller works awsome

Very simple to set up and use. I fly a F450 quad. All of the built in GPS hover, return to home, failsafe, modes, and configuration went pretty smooth. Just read manuals and watch videos and it's pretty easy. You can upgrade this version to naza V2 version with a simple software update. LED works great as well, tells me when battery is low, and when GPS signal is acquired upon start up.
