Good BP monitor
This monitor ( Omron 10 Series Wireless Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor BP7450 ) is a good one. The cuff is very easy to wear. I haven't verified this device reading with my doctor. Will update the accuracy later. The only thing is changing the TrueRead mode setting is not a straight forward. The TrueRead mode takes 3 consecutive measurements and apply the average. You can set the interval between the readings ( 15,30,60 or 120 seconds) If you would like to turn-on TrueRead mode later, you need to press the Bluetooth button and accept all the date prompts to change the TrueRead settings. They should have a separate button to turn off or turn on the TrueRead setting. I am not removing Arm Cuff Air plug from the monitor. I always attached the air plug to the monitor as I read some reviews says the air plug can break if you remove and insert often ( I didn't do any research whether it really breaks or not). The BlueTooth sync is easy. Please note while adding the monitor to your mobile app ( 1st time ) , you need to select an user on your phone . If you do not select an user ( 1 or 2 ) , it gives a misleading error saying that "the selected user is already assigned and do you you want to overwrite?" Make sure to select an user on your mobile app while adding your BP monitor to your iPhone App. I synced with Iphone X ( iOS 14.7.1) and no issues. The App has a nice graphical representation of your readings. You can also change it to list view. You can share the result to the registered email. I don't see anyway to send directly to any other email except the one you used to register with "Connect Omron App". I don't see sharing through other apps like whatsapp. Overall the monitor is good one. I still need to validate the reading with my doctor, but the readings looks correct from my history.

Accurate and easy to use - perfect for multi-user mode
This is my first blood pressure monitor, so I do not have previous references. However, it took me a bit of research to make the decision on purchasing this and not an older series' Omron, or a different brand. I ended up choosing this 9”- 17” preformed cuff because my arm size leans more to a lower circumference (13") than towards a higher value. This is something that will definitely determine you choosing between preformed cuff or d-ring and wrist devices (the latter work better for people with bigger upper arms). I was a bit concerned about accuracy, but the TruRead function (averaging consecutive measurements) takes care of it, even so, I have not noticed outlier measurements. It is more about following general common ground instructions on when (time of the day, body state, etc.) and how to take the measurement, than any inaccuracy given by the instrument. So far so good, it is very easy to use and I can store/synch 2 user's readings independently. Pairing the device was at first a bit confusing, but if you stick to the instructions it works just fine, also, it was a one-time thing to do (1 time per user/phone). I paired both IPhone and Android, no problems. The synching and keeping history in the app, which is simple but good enough is also a plus. With regards to the reviews claiming the blue rubber joint at the end of the band breaks easily... I am not sure why would that happen. It could certainly be a bit delicate, but just as any other instrument, you just need to take care of it: set the monitor in one fixed and undisturbed place and you should be good. Also treat it carefully, just like any other cable-like part it will obviously have a risk to break if you pull it around, bent it or generally mistreat it (it is an electronic device, not a garden hose!!). Anyways.. really happy with my purchase.

Probably as good as they come for a home unit
Appears to be a very well-built machine, it's arm cuff is very easy to put on and off, and it's attaching material (like a Velcro) seems like it will last a long time both in terms of years and use. I had two of these, exact same model, available when testing against my dentist's blood pressure monitor and the two copies of the same model did not agree with one another but mine agreed with the dentist's which gave me a bit of confidence in it. Two features I bought this model for, I do not care about, so consider saving $10 or so with the next model down which does not have the 3 averaged readings. While it takes three readings in a row, one minute or two minutes apart, however you set it to space them out, each of those readings does not show up on your screen. It's averaging math is done entirely by the machine. I didn't like that period I want to see what each of the three readings says. It is very easy to simply wait a minute or two, leave the armband on, and poke the start button again. Those three readings will be in its memory and you can average out yourself. But at least you know what they were. The other feature this model has is the wall plug. I can't think of why I thought I needed it. It would be inconvenient and batteries work fine. I think it may even tell you if they are running low. I would recommend checking your unit against a doc's or dentist's just so you know it is reasonably correct since in my case the other copy of this same exact machine was off. All in all it seems like a good home unit. This is a case where I would stick with a name brand.

Everything works great except the Bluetooth sync
I have an old reliable Omron 10+ that has served me well for over five years. I have another that is nearly eight years old. When I saw Omron's new product line, I figured I was ready for a replacement, so I purchased a new upper arm and wrist meter. I'm loving this new Omron 10 so far. The dual display is bright and vivid and I really like how it immediately shows the last reading next to the current reading. It makes it easier to track small changes without the need to sort through the history to do so. The buttons and interface are also intuitive and easy to use. The new body design is a welcomed change. The narrow shape requires less space than my previous Omron 10 meter. I included a photo of the new Omron 10 next to my old 10+ to give an idea of the size and shape differences. I usually take my readings at my desk in my home. I typically had to move my keyboard along with other items to clear space for my older Omron meter. Even then, I usually had to turn my old meter sideways for it to fit on the desk. This new design fits on the desk quite easily with minimum space required. I can now just slide my keyboard back a few inches and instantly have enough space for a reading. The meter is powered by either four AA batteries or AC adapter, both included. Buttons are similar to older Omron models with one exception. Instead of a combo date/time/sync button, there is now a dedicated Bluetooth button on the rear. The new Bluetooth button is much more logical and intuitive to use for sync than the old date/time combo button on my older Omron meters. Accuracy is excellent. As always, I immediately compared it against my doctor's meter and accuracy is very impressive. It's even better than my old Omron 10+ which was starting to read a little high likely due to the age of both the meter and cuff. The pump isn't the quietest when inflating but isn't overly loud. The cuff fits my arm easily and comfortably. I can't say enough how much I like the new dual display. If you need to track your readings regularly due to new medications or issues, it really helps with quick comparisons. The Omron app is also new and Bluetooth sync is where the first ding in the armor of this device appears. Apparently, Omron entered into a partnership with Alivecor. The new Omron app not only records blood pressure readings but also records EKG readings from Alivecor devices. I have a Kardia EKG device, so it's very convenient to have both my blood pressure and EKG readings in one app. The only problem is that Bluetooth performance and sync are shaky at best with this new Omron 10. I've never had any problems syncing to the old app with my old Omron 10+ upper arm meter. However, I experience frequent issues syncing this Omron 10 and my new Omron 7 meter to the new app. I frequently either get an error message along with a failed sync or a message incorrectly stating there are no new readings. When the meter does manage to sync it sometimes misses readings or will record new readings despite warning that there are no new readings. Since it happens with both new Omron meters, I believe the app is the culprit. I removed a star solely for the flaky sync because it's a major feature of this particular model and contributes to the higher price. I'm hoping it will eventually be resolved through app updates. I really like this new Omron 10. If not for the unreliable sync it would easily be a five star review. It's highly accurate, easy to use and very useful for tracking trends. The spotty sync may be a deal-breaker for some but I'm willing to wait it out a bit and see if it gets addressed without the need to exchange for a new device. I'm willing to extend the benefit of the doubt and be patient due to this being a brand new model but only for so long.

EXCELLENT BP READER
I purchased the BP 7450 model in 2019. It was manufactured in Japan. The cuff is easy to adjust. It seems reliable. I tried to upgrade to the BP & EKG reader and I found that it had a soft cuff, which made it difficult to tighten. The EKG readouts were quirky. The BP meter above is a very good choice. I have been happy many years with the reliability. I sent the newer one back for a refund. I am staying with my BP-7450.

Updates Are Nice And It Seems Accurate
I have been using the Omron 10 Series BP785N for the last five years or so. Lately, it would occasionally error out and sometimes it would act funny, so I was not sure I could trust the results. The price for this unit was a lot cheaper than the comparable unit I bought in 2018. Plus, the BP7450 includes Bluetooth. So, that was a nice plus. First I tested them side by side, doing a "TruRead" 3 time Average with both units, the Systolic was off by 1 and the Diastolic was exact. So, based on that reading, I feel comfortable using both of them. Since I can still use my old one, I have decided to keep my manual log along with the Bluetooth updates, running my BP in two locations. I have used other cheaper BP monitors that offer Bluetooth and they did not work all that well. I find that the BP7450 does an excellent job with the Omron Connect Android App. It is very simple to use and has fingerprint support. My current procedure is to take my BP, leave the BP Monitor on, open the Omron Connect App, and synchronize it with my phone. (For some reason, Omron forces you to use location services in order to update readings, so I temporarily turn that on, get my reading, and turn it off. I don't like being tracked by Google.) The app shows my goal as being 135/80 while the BP monitor expects you to be below 120/80. My old BP monitor also reads over 135/80 as being high. My BP is never going to be below 120/80 unless I'm reading it after an hour long workout. It can be a bit depressing being told your BP is high every day. I think that should/could be an adjustable setting. But, that is a minor nit. Another plus is that the power plug and the Arm Cuff are interchangeable with my BP785N. The "air plug" is a little different, but I could swap it out if needed. Overall, I think this is a great product. I think it is worth the extra to get an upper cuff unit, and at this price, it is not much more than a wrist cuff unit.

Simple and accurate
I purchased this unit after my HBP diagnosis a couple years ago. It is very simple to use and I take it along to my doctor appointment about every six months to compare, and it has always been within a few points of matching the reading the nurse takes. It reads your pulse and checks for irregular heartbeat as well. I check my BP daily and battery life is excellent. It is a great tool to see how different diet and exercise can affect your blood pressure.

This is the one to get
This unit is worth every penny (and more) of the $80 price. The most important aspect of a BP machine is it’s accuracy. I have an older Omron model that was recently verified to be accurate at my doctor’s office. This new unit was within 1-2 points of that verified unit on multiple readings. I also believe the comfort cuff on this unit provides better, more accurate readings than a standard cuff. Another pro is that this is one of the few units that comes with an AC adapter, giving you the option of using batteries. The quality, fit and finish are excellent. It has some advanced features that you can choose to use if you want, but you don’t have to. The one con is that it doesn’t come with a cover or case, which I would have gladly paid extra for due to the quality of the machine. It’s a legitimate 5-star purchase.
