GV1050 MiniVault Quick Access One Gun Safe With Illuminated NoEyes Keypad

This safe is really nice. It is quite large, but it appears to be super durable. The finger buttons are nicely lit and easy to access in the dark. The gun storage is adequate for a full size pistol and a magazine. My only gripe is that it opens extremely violently. It is very loud. However I found that if I catch it with my hand as it opens it is less noisy. Still, I'd recommend this safe for someone looking for a on the top night stand pistol safe.

Vault ia fine. I own 4 of em and all are great. This seller’s shipping is bad though. I only received 1, notified them and was told another was shipped immediately, tracking number will follow later that day. 4 days later, no tracking number. I reached out again, they sent a fake tracking number. Still waiting on refund.

Vault seems sturdy and well-made, although the inner tray is just plastic. Installation of the 9-volt battery into its holding bracket is difficult to do, because there is very little room for your hand and you can’t see where it goes. You just have to do it by feel. Also, it’s very easy to tear the protective foam inside when installing battery. Programming security code was easy. I can access the vault very quickly with the code, although the door is usually left in the open position at night when we have no houseguests. I was able to fit two small pistols and one magazine inside, but there was no room to spare. This vault is really intended for just one firearm. I keep it on my nightstand, but did not want to drill holes into the top of the nightstand to bolt it down. I’m less concerned about the vault and the firearms being stolen than keeping the guns out of the hands of our young grandchildren. If we are going to be leaving the house for more than a few hours, will put any firearm(s) left behind in our large gun safe. For the price and features, I feel it’s a good value to keep a child from your firearm or if bolted down, would deter most thieves. It’s probably not going to keep a determined teen or thief from accessing the gun(s), though.

I have two pistols now so the size is a bit small. Perfect for one and a spare magazine. The battery won’t stay in place so that’s my only complaint.

I mounted this to the floor under our bed. I like the finger cutouts that allow me to figure out what buttons are being pressed with out seeing it. It was easy to set up and it holds a Sig P365, a spare clip, and a box of ammo with out out any problem.

Customer service is non-existent . My vault is malfunctioning and after sending emails as well as being on hold endlessly, I still have a damaged, non-functioning unit that compromises my safety. I tried reaching the company via Amazon and all I get is AI telling me that I can’t return it. I’m out $$. No more valuable purchases via Amazon for me and I cannot recommend this company in good faith.

When I received the vault the spring that pops out the drawer was detached and loose. It is very difficult to put the 9 volt battery securely in the unit. After attaching the wires. The drawer would not open after my code but I could hear a click. I used a brand new battery to replace it and it opened again. Be sure to check the battery periodically since in an emergency you don't want to be fumbling for the keys. This is not a safe that will keep everyone out but more a quick access. Safe to keep casual eyes off and convenience of quick access.
