I bought this gift for my goddaughter and it was perfect for Easter.

I am super picky with Easter books because I don't want the story to miss the point of the holiday like so many do. This is great! Its beautifully illustrated and exactly what we were looking for.

So very happy to find this book for my grandson's first Easter.

Our kids have all the Good News! books. They are cute, well written, and have good Biblical messages for little kids. This particular book, I would have liked to see more about the actual Easter Story - it doesn't mention Jesus until the very end. That was disappointing but it's still cute and it does talk about Jesus so still an okay book.

Really cute illustrations and a the beautiful message of Easter. Never too early to introduce religious beliefs to babies.

What I appreciate about Good News! It's Easter...We often forget that books aren't just for reading, but they are also important for beginning a conversation with our children. I love that message that proclaims there is good news in what our Creator God has given us. What an important message to help our little ones begin to grasp. Not only did God bring good news through creation but through His Son - "I was dead but now I'm back, to live and love and save!" I am using this book as a tool to share simple and beautiful truths to my young grand children. I want them to know at an early age that there is a great BIG God who loves them and has an amazing plan for their lives. What better way to impart that truth than with the assistance of this precious book. Thank you Glenys for giving us wonderful words reinforce this.

A precious, fun book and a great way to introduce Easter to little kids. My son (1.5) has wanted to read it every day since Easter!

A cute book with cute illustrations. It's a quick rhythmic read and would be good for new readers. The best "good news" ends the book. Looking forward to pulling it out for Easter Sunday.

Excellent introduction to Easter. It shows the connections between the season of Spring and the New Life we have in Jesus because he died for us (the seasons line up in the Northern Hemisphere). Simple, too simple for my 3 year old who wouldn’t sit through to the end but perfect for babies up to maybe the age of 2-ish? Will try again and embellish the story this time. Arrived with slight damage on the bottom edge of the cover but it’s not a gift and it’s not enough to need a replacement.

As a follower of Glenys Nellist's books I was delighted to order this new title. What an enchanting read with wonderful illustrations. I love the repetition of "Good News said the .. " and the celebration of new life seen all around us in God's wonderful creation. Of course, the path ultimately leads to Jesus, risen from the tomb, a beautiful way to introduce young children to the glory that is the Easter story.Read less

This is a beautiful little book I've bought for my granddaughter for Easter. I have already read it with the children in school and they loved it. It brings home the real message of Easter and it's such a great treat with beautiful pictures and rhyming stories that children will love-I can't wait to read this with Phoebe.
