My personal reaction was i loved this book because of the humor and lively illustrations. There is a silly rhymes about what the boy finds around the house that all the kids can relate too. This would be a great read aloud to make a curricular connection about learning new words. The rhymes in the book are a great tool to helping the flow and keep the students engaged. The made up words also enhance their imagination to know they are not actually words. This would also be a great independent read for a beginning reader. With an interest in silly books with humor and rhyme. This will also enhance the idea of having an opinion for themselves. As we see the main character like and sometimes dislike some of the items he found. This would also be a good for a narrative to teach rhyme to children. With big text and fun illustrations the rhymes enhance the meaning of the words. The children can learn to rhyme about anything and everything. This is also good when they see new made up words. This is great for them to sound them put and figure out the meaning based on the sentence and illustrations.

Love this book Great board book

It's very different from a usual story book. It is funny and helps to build our children's imagination. It's more like a 'read for fun' book, rather than a bedtime story or light reading for children.

Unfortunately the book binders bound the pages in the wrong order. e.g. it starts at page 6 and then contents page is on the 4th page and the order is all off.

This series of books should be in every home whether for kids or adults. I grew up with them as a kid and as a parent they were read to my children. There should be two books in every home. The Bible and any book by Dr. Seuss
