Love the story! Didn't like how pages had been, seemingly, caught in a machined and were irreparably bent; and, one page hadn't been properly cut. I kept the book because doing Returns is a hassle.

Dialogue is translated similar to what you find in the King James Bible. A lot of “doest” and “thou” and “hast” and “thy” etc. Almost unreadable. I didn’t realize the translation was from the late 1800s.Book was in like new shape.

Although written from a Roman Catholic perspective, I, not being a Catholic, absolutely loved it. It was both beautiful and horrible. It opened my eyes to the miracle of the early Christian church.I wept and rejoiced and didn't want it to end. A must read for every Christian or anyone who wants to have a better understanding of the Christian faith.

Top of our list for incredible spiritual books.This will make a Christian out of you if you aren't convinced already.

fantastic story riddled with love, morals, and decisions. Can you find yourself spending your time in a more productive reading? FOR SURE.

Written at the end of XIX century, this book is for everyone, not only for christians. The Author got Noble prize in Literature mainly for this book, so it it worth reading if only for that. Besides, it is one of the books that every classic literature lover should know. This is a historical novel, but it has everything: adventure, love, danger and heroism. I would not recomend it for children, of course, it has too much brutality, but older teens are ready to read it. For me it found permanent room on the bookshelf. It is one of those books that you like to come back to from time to time.

I carefully selected this version and the vendor as I expected a quality item. However, the book has been delivered with its cover being torn off from outside to inside. Quite disappointing.
