LG AJU34125555 Genuine OEM Water Inlet Valve Assembly for LG Refrigerators

This fixed my LG LSXS26366D refrigerator. I was getting ice but the water dispenser didn’t work. Would get a humming noise. After looking at Sears I figured out the part, and found it one day shipping free and cheaper here. Install was really easy! I tend to mess up repairs so I was happy at how straight forward it is.1. Turn off water.2. Open freezer door, unplug the blue line.3. Pull out old pump and put in the new one placing the lines in the exact same sequence. (Lines are jaw locked in so remove the tabs, push in on the plastic inner ring which will release the line). The electric plug connector is near the top and easy to release.4. Fish blue line through plastic hole near the back of the open area you’re working in, which leads to the front under the freezer. Reconnect the blue line under the freezer. I had my wife at the front grab the line and pull for me to make it easier.5. Put it all back together and done.Super easy.Now to say a little word to LG. My fridge is less than 3 years old and the pump already went out. Come on guys. Between my fridge and washer I’ve had to replace 3 parts. 1 drain pump, the suspension rods, and now the fridge pump. Can’t believe such expensive appliances would have so many problems. Never going to buy LG again. Life is not Good with LG.UPDATE 2/21Still working great!

Works perfectly. Remember to mark which hoses came off where so you can install it the same way. I made the mistake of not doing that. All good now!

My ice maker was broken for about a year and I couldn't figure out why. The ice tray wouldn't fill. I didn't think it was the pump because I could unplug the fridge for about 20 minutes, plug it in, hold reset and the tray would fill. But it wouldn't fill again nomatter what I do.I got advice to replace the pump and tried it. I again had a working ice maker. It seems there is a different process for initial fill and normal fill in this ice maker for some reason. I was just happy to not be manually pouring water into that ice tray anymore.

The part fixed the issue of no water to ice maker and water dispenser for a few months then the water pressure of the water dispenser became a slow drip. The ice maker only makes one cube at a time. I’m concerned for the price of this part that it only last for a brief time frame. Not to mention the original part that was on the fridge when purchased only lasted a year. Is this a poor design or are inferior parts being used?

Not an overly difficult repair for the average DIYer. Just take your time, follow safety protocols(unplug device) & mark your water tubes for correct reassembly into new part. Several videos online cover this fix. As another reviewer commented, this is not a part someone should have to be changing on a refrigerator a few years old. They just don't make 'em like they used to!
