Absolutely Stellar
This game is amazing. I'm playing on a Switch Lite, and the graphics still look amazing. The environments in this game are crazy cool. Its a rogue like for sure, and it will frustrate you at first , but once you get the hang of it you'll love it! I recommend changing the default controls, and you will be very satisfied. The controls themselves are unbelievably accurate. The game progresses slow and the Story doesn't really make sense until you have played a while, but it ties in nice. Tons of replay value with different ships, and hardcore mode. I say buy this game if you want an amazing space shooter/ looter.

Fun Space Combat Game. Not for Portable Play.
Title pretty much says it. This is a fun and beautiful "rogue-like" Space Combat game. You shoot up and explore a star system, then advance to the next one. Repeat until you die. Accumulate blueprints and money in repeated runs towards a goal (never got there) discovering your past (your memory is gone) and probably other goals. When you die, a "clone" starts over with the benefit of unlockable upgrades and equipment from your previous runs. Controls are good, interface isn't too confusing, and there's a pretty good variety for a game of this type. Why 3 Stars? The text is ridiculous in a lot of this game on the Switch's native screen. See picture. Light blue text on darker blue semi-transparent background with graphics behind it, and literally 10 lines of text are the width of my finger. Who can read that? I'm sure it's fine when your switch is docked and you're playing on a big-screen TV, but it's just not a portable game -- which is mostly how I play my switch.

Non-US version
Overall the game is fantastic and works very well on the Nintendo Switch. I play exclusively in handheld mode, so I cannot speak to docked performance.A few items which reflect the 4 star rating.- You will not be able to claim Gold Coins as the physical copies seem to mostly be from the U.K.Since Nintendo Switch games are not region locked, this won't affect what country you're in when trying to play the game, you just wont get the coins if you are in the US, Asia, etc.- During gameplay, if you want to go to the Nintendo Store (E-Shop) you will experience a delay in response. I've averaged between 10 and 20 seconds when going from gameplay to the E-Shop to check on deals. Once in a while the game will crash when you do this as it will max out the cache. Luckily the game has an autosave feature, so you wont lose a ton of progress and will restart your next run in the last sector you were playing.Extra note:Anytime you purchase a Nintendo Switch port of a game that is also released on PC and other consoles you are sacrificing visual fidelity and frames per second. Practice due diligence by watching youtube reviews to make an informed decision.

A great looking and fun game
This game has lots of content and looks great. The developer took a lot of care porting this over and keeping the game looking good.Well worth the cost, only bummer is that the next game will only be on next gen consoles.

Great game 50 hours in and I'm loving it.
Great game! A bit of grind but in a good way. It's not so much an open space simulator. It's more a rogue like with a spaceship. You jump from pocket to pocket fighting enemies collecting resources and blueprints to craft equipment. There's an overarching storyb but I've not finished it. Even tho you die wash rinse repeat it you still feel like you are progressing because some things carry over from run to run. Think of it as a dungeon crawl with a spaceship. This is one of my favorite games I've played recently.

Terrible game. Bad story that is confusing. Hard to control ship. You die all the time for no reason and then have to retrace your steps. Feels like a bad Star Trek game. You need fuel to make jumps but constantly run out and then all the enemies gang up on you and you die. Not recommended at all. Graphics look cool but that is the only perk. I regret buying this.

great rouge like game
Overall a quality game with upgrades and rogue like elements. I personally found the exploration of space to be a welcomed story plot to the genre. Bear in mind you wont be able to claim gold points unless your profile is set to the region.
