Q: Are the shocks actually the yellow/gold color in the pictures or are they the chrome color?

I bought the 5100 series shocks and they are silver. I think the 4600 series shocks are yellow.

Q: Does this fit on a Chevy 3500 high country?

These shocks from what I can remember are 1.5-2” longer than factory. If your high country has a 4” lift these will not fit. Pull your shocks off your truck and measure center to center at full extension. You should be able to find the correct length shock off rock auto or Bilstein website. Take the part number and should be able to find them off Amazon.

Q: Are they worth buying to help smooth out ride on 2011 duramax 2500 with a leveling kit?

Put them on a 2012 GMC 2500 and the ride is stiff! I actually believe it's stiffer than the original shocks.

Q: Are they sold in a pair?

This listing is for one shock absorber. As you probably know, different shock specs are needed depending on the intended position on the vehicle, so I recommend verifying your OEM part number and cross reference to ensure correct fitment.
