Is the lid supposed to pop when the jar is opened?

The lid should pop upon opening as this is an indication that it was properly sealed. When a can or jar is properly sealed in the process it creates a vacuum within. This vacuum makes the lid flat or you can see a small indentation due to the pressure within.

what is the general expiration from time of delivery, including unopened jars?

From the manufacturer’s website: A “best by date” is on the bottom of every jar of nut butter and on the back of every bar. Nut butters have a best by date of 12 months past their production dates, and bars have a best by date of six months past their production dates. These dates are not expiration dates, but they are meant to communicate when our products are at their best. From a food safety perspective, our foods are safe to eat well beyond their best by dates. Your nut butters will not be harmful to eat past their best by dates, but please keep in mind that they are past their prime in terms of flavor and freshness.

do you have a creamy peanut butter with sorghum?

I haven’t seen this PB with sorghum but you could add it to your PB or regrind it into your PB or in shakes etc. good luck.

Great flavor

I really like this nut butter! The blend of peanut & pecan really heightens the flavor as well as the maple and cinnamon - which do not overwhelm at all - just adds a great flavor profile.I’ve been looking for and tried several nut butters that have a different mix of flavors that are low in sugar and no or very low soy. While this is a bit pricey, it’s worth it to me for all the pluses on my list (and it’s for me only). We still have our regular peanut butter for everyone else - but I enjoy the “gourmet” aspect of this. Makes a great pretzel dip as well as sandwiches.I’m very happy I tried this and will be reordering yet again!

Great Peanut Butter for those who like a little heat

I read a foodie review by a Caribbean chef who raved about this butter as a fond taste of her childhood, so I decided to try it and I’m glad I did! Even as a New Englander raised on ****py peanut butter, I’ll rave about this butter. It’s delicious, natural peanut butter with a nice crunch and just the perfect amount of pepper heat. I tried both alone on toast and then as part of a PB & J using strawberry jam - truly delicious either way! It might cost a bit more than the big US brands, but the flavor is truly worth it; I recommend trying it and am now looking for other ways to enjoy/cook with it.

Spicy peanut butter

I searched for this on Amazon and I came across this product so I decided to give it a try cause the description looked legit to what I know to be spicy Haitian mamba (Spicy peanut butter) when I opened the container it was just oil formed at the top and a brick like texture sitting at the bottom, I tried to mix it up to make it manageable and that did not work. I tasted it and just as I thought, it was just oil and a sand like taste. Long story short I threw it out cause I had already broken the seal.

It's ok, but not worth the price.

This peanut butter is good if you are a peanut butter lover, but it's not worth the price. It is thick and does not stir well so it's hard to get out and spread. I do not taste the maple or the cinnamon 😕 just taste like nut butter.
