Broken Headphones... Next Step? - UPDATE
My son took the folding headphones out of the box, gently unfolded them, and the earpiece broke. Now there is just a wire connecting them to the rest of the unit. Seller has not responded yet (email sent a couple of days ago via Amazon). We are asking for a replacement or upgrade. Either one will work, assuming they get back to us. We haven't done anything with the DDJ-400 yet.UPDATE:As it turns out, the seller WAS communicating to me in a timely manner. No problems there whatsoever. They were VERY responsive. They did send an upgraded headphone model and it seems to be very solid. The DDJ-400 itself is awesome. My son loves it and it seems to be pretty intuitive (he isn't much into reading instructions and prefers to dive into the features on the controller). Four stars rather than five are because of what I see as an inferior headphone offering with this package. I would like to see a better, more quality headphone pairing with this very highly rated controller.
