PERFECT gift for kids or the "kid at heart"!
It is a functional watch but you get to doodle and make it your own. Make a statement. Tell your friends at school what you're all about. Accent your wardrobe. I don't know... it's a watch and the whole point is to be creative!Perfect for kids! My kids loved them and they fit great in a stocking!Great when you have to buy someone a gift but have a dollar limit that makes it nearly impossible to impress. This will do it!The "paper" is a durable nylon-style fiber that last! It is much like those crazy bracelets you can never remove from concerts or hospitals, but these can be removed by a safe and durable clasp.Seller was fast, went the extra mile, and I would buy from again.

I use these for work because they're super lightweight and I can attach them to anything

Fun and cute
Fun and cute, but the band doesn't allow it to come off and on. It is a one time wear.

It's not a toy; it's potential art. Amazing invention -- but read my whole review (if they post it)
I think this item is made of Tyvek, which feels like paper, but is a DuPont discovery from 1955, which is used in zillions of things.I found this in many different colors (like the photos) at my local Dollar Tree. DT's parent company, Greenbrier Intl, has knocked them off. They were hard-to-spot and even harder to understand what they were. No instructions anywhere -- except the words, "paint on it!" on the front. The entire watch -- the band and the face are covered in Tyvek. What this means is that this can easily become an objet d'art. Think about it. Can you imagine if Warhol or Dali or Max had had these to paint on? Although I think they were manufactured for young kids, talented artists CAN create art on them and sell them. I would suggest that buyers be told that they should be framed rather than worn. Or maybe wear them until the batteries die and then frame them. As for whether it's durable, I don't want to test it, i.e., rip it, to see. You'll have to figure that out for yourself.Just as artists have painted on fabric for since humans began, here is a new way to personalize an accessory. That you can buy it for buck is pretty remarkable. Keep in mind that once DT sells their own manufactured stuff out, it's gone.Would I run to buy them? Probably not. But I wouldn't waste any time either.
