Berkebile Oil 2 + 2 B101 Instant Gum Cutter - 13 oz.

This stuff works really well. Make sure you wear gloves and safety glasses. I used this to clean the goo out of a direct injection Subaru head. This stuff works so good it melted my nylon brush.

This is hands down the best carb cleaner out there. Its the kind of stuff that California warns you about, and that is exactly what lets you know it's good stuff! Warning - Do not apply to reproductive organs or ozone layer. Seriously don't... it burns.Seriously though, this gum cutter came in huge handy when recently rebuilding my LTZ400 which is a thumper type engine (big single cylinder). The combustion chamber of the cylinder head had a lot of carbon buildup, and this is the only stuff that would touch the carbon! It honestly seems to just dissolve the carbon, which is absolutely amazing. It also was excellent for cleaning out the carburetor, and made the machine run much better.

Good cleaner for printed circuit boards

I worked for a jaguar repair shop on the east coast about 10 years ago. We used berkebile gum cutter for everything. The cans are smaller than some of the big name brands, but it lasts longer because it works and you don't need as much to do the job. I've never found another product that works as well as this stuff. You definitely want to use it in a ventilated area because this stuff would drive California ecomentalists nuts. Its a little bit expensive but I'm glad to pay it to an American company that makes a product that works.

Don’t mess with any other brand. This is REAL High strength Carburetor cleaner. Stronger than Gumout used to be 30+ years ago!

Was really hoping it’d help break up caked up oil and carbon deposits in the intake/exhaust runners and on the valves of my vw GTIs direct injection motor. Which after letting it soak a while it did help just not as well as I was hoping considering the price difference compared to degreaser, brake kleen, carb cleaner etc. but I’ll likely switch back to my normal products because of convenience & costs.
