Love the new filters and works great for the new Britta Elite pitcher I purchased. Great water taste as well.

This product works to alkalize your water. I no longer buy costly, alkaline bottled water, and struggle carrying heavy bottles of alkaline water. I used a litmus paper to test the alkalinity. I am sold. I use this filtered water in my tea, all of my beverages , and even in the pasta or rice I cook. I save spending $14 a week, $56 a month, and $112 dollars in 2 months. With this alkaline filter I pay $10 in 2 months, which is a fraction of the cost of purchasing Alkaline bottled water. I was hoping it would alkalize higher like maybe an 8.5 or 9.0 ph level. Seems to hit my test strips around a 7.0 which is okay. Doesn't last long. I get maybe 2 months out of one cartridge. Was hoping for at least 3 months since it's just my husband and myself drinking it. I bought it because the gallon jugs I was buying at Sprouts that have an 8.8 to 10.0 ph level were getting too expensive to keep buying. I need the higher ph level though for my gut imbalance, so I went back to buying these from Sprouts. I'm sure this Brita style cartridge would work fine for someone with less of a need than mine. I do like that they fit the Britta pitcher. That's a great feature.

The Wellblue filters have the best ratings for a water pitcher filter. I advised my son-in-law to use it because his PSA was slightly elevated after surgery. Two months later it was "0". Alkaline water does help this, as it had the same affect on my husband's PSA, I highly advise this water filter.

The taste is better than the regular Brita water filter
