Manttra 4 Quarts Aluminum Pressure Cooker

I'm very happy with my new pressure cooker. It is made in America, which is abig plus to me. I have not used a PC for quite awhile and had never seen this typeof steam cock. I did what the manual said but pressure was not rising. I wentback and read it again, and it said push Cock down until it "clicks". which I didand it worked fine. I guess its best to read the directions sometimes.It only took 15 minutes time to cook beef ribs/potatoes/celery/carrots/onions.The pressure came down pretty fast. I made the gravy and supper was done.It was very tender and tasty. I now think its better than my slow cooker.

There's just no better feeling than when you get a good deal on something- especially an item ordered on-line. This pressure cooker was ordered to replace my old one, but I wanted the same kind as my old one, so I looked for a Mantra. This updated version gave me all the performance I needed and because it was a Mantra- I knew it was quality. I was relieved & pleased that I did'nt have to look any further than amazon. I would absolutely recommend this item and amazon.

This pot is great. Sturdy. Cooks fast. It came with a guide which said how many minutes for different meats which was very helpful. I've had this a while and no major defect. Just lost the pressure knob so now use it as a regular pot, and the handle became shaky but can be tightened with the screw in it. For all the years I had it it is still in mint condition the outside and inside. I would highly recommend it.

We ordered a new pressure cooker and received one that was obviously used. We are overseas making it very difficult to return to Amazon. I would not recommend anyone buying this product if they are expecting s new unused unit.

Compare with the other on the Market, it's cost $60.00 to $80.00. This one cost only $30.00 and it's work fine . So why buy China product for poison Chemical in it ?

This is a pretty neat cooker. My wife appreciates it as it helps her cook faster. Especially rice and meat can be cooked very quickly. Can be used to boil vegetables, lentils etc.

Perfect size for 2 people.

As a well seasoned user of pressure cookers, I was very disappointed in the performance of this item. It's performance the first time I used it to cook a pound of dried peas was disappointing to say the least. The unit never got up to pressure, no matter how much I worked with it. A second attempt met with the same results. I guess I just have a good pot now.
