CROSOFMI Sprinkler Timer,Water Timer Digital Programmable Garden Lawn Hose Faucet Timer Irrigation System Controller/Child Lock Mode/Auto&Manual Mode/Rain Delay/3 Inches Large Screen/IP65-UPGRADE

Bought in May 2020. I used for 2 summers and it’s been stored indoors for two winters in the Midwest zone 6.Summer #3 setup resulted in water not being stopped by the timer and thought I’d have to buy a new one. I had turn on the water and water flowed through. Testing the ON/OFF wasn’t stopping the water either and there wasn’t a clicking noise like normal. I took it apart, wiped parts down to remove water, and put it back together. Super easy and the problem was solved. I was seriously surprised it worked, but I had read another review doing it and thought I’d give it a shot. Even if it didn’t work, I was going to buy this product again. To me $15/year was worth the convenience of it.Install was a little difficult, but now that I know how to get a watertight install, all is good. I also have old spigots and have had trouble with hoses in general getting a tight seal.1) I use a brass splitter so I can have a regular hose for use and this timer setup to my low pressure irrigation system. Highly recommend that setup so you don’t have to mess with the time except when rain delay setting or adjusting timing.2) Get some Teflon tape. Wrap the threads on the spigot and on the bottom of the time with Teflon tape before installing. Be sure to wrap it the same direction you turn the hose to attach (clockwise). It’s worth the hassle to get Teflon and wrap it.3) Use a wrench to tighten the timer to the spigot and the hose to the time. It is plastic, so just pay attention that you don’t crack anything. I’ve put some decent force on it to tighten it and haven’t broke it. Just be aware it’s not a metal connection.4) test the water flow using manual mode. Turn on the water and make sure no water is coming out the hose or any of the connections. To test the ON/OFF mechanism, click the manual button (top right) and then the On (bottom right). You’ll hear a slight click but most likely you’ll hear a louder noise (water hammering?) when the water turns on/off.5) remove timer and rubber washers and store indoors for freezing tips.

I treated myself for my birthday this year and got this timer along with a dripline watering system for my 4 raised garden vegetable beds. This was VERY easy, very intuitive, and hasn't had really any issues. I think I installed it July 2020, running for 90 minutes every 2-3 days on my system, and some occasional manual turn-ons, and it's now Nov 2020 and haven't had any issues. It drips water very slowly at the base b/c the hose is always turned on, but I think it's my faucet/hose connection and not the device. It made me nervous that it might ruin the device but it's worked all this season without issues. No faulty turn ons, no issues with the screen, no battery issues, etc... Thankfully my hose turn on is under my home awning in the shade here in TN. Leaving electronics in the sun is never a good idea. Very pleased with this!! Fingers crossed when I blow out the lines and bring the timer inside for the winter it'll work good next spring!!

Having had many water timers over the years, this one is close to being perfect. Very nice display and easy to setup. Manual watering is simple and does not disable any scheduled timer. The water pressure is excellent, not reducing like an orbit I had (dislike orbit anything). The only issue I had, and is significant, is the outlet where you connect your hose, etc. That outlet is not threaded for garden hose (GHT), it is pipe threaded (NPT). Makes no sense and I've never run into before. This is a non-issue however as long as you use the included quick coupler (assuming you have a compatible connector on your hose). That coupler is NPT threaded and quick connects to my existing coupler (I use HQMPC). GHT and NPT are similar but will bind after a couple twists when trying to directly attach a hose, resulting in a poor seal and leaky result. They did provide an extra thick washer which might also be used to remedy this issue as well (when combined with the washer already in your hose). I do like this timer but keep in mind the need to use the quick connect (or extra thick washer).

I feel like with this device you can do virtually anything. Very functional. My first unit might have been defective as it stopped working in the rain (despite being an outdoor timer) so I'm going to cut like a 2L soda bottle and put it over the device to help protect it more. Or something like that. Not sure exactly.I definitely like the timer enough to try another one rather than to try another timer.

Read the mostly positive reviews here (despite reading some recent negative ones) and bit the bullet. As someone mentioned, great idea but poorly executed. This product is made in China (possibly shipped directly from) and first thing I noticed was an inspection tag with someone's signature and name from about a month ago saying product was inspected and worked properly. Ha! Positives, big screen, solid built item. Instructions weren't great with poor English but is easy to figure out. Tried hooking top to the outdoor bib and no leaking with a good seal. However when hooking to an external hose connector from the bottom it just leaks like crazy. Never seen anything like it. I initially had a bad feeling about the bottom connector as if it was missing a washer or something. It looked poorly constructed and did not go with the rest of the product. Additional items were useless to correct the issue. Immediately shipped back. Would not recommend.

I love this sprinkler timer for so many reasons! It works!!! It's simple to set up and operate! It has a large display screen that displays the current time, next watering time you have set, how long you want to water, how often you wish to water, etc. I suggest that you do not connect the Timer directly to your house facet but instead purchase a short flexible hose (see photo) to connect directly to your house facet and then attach the Timer to the other end. By linking to the flexible hose will eliminate the possibility of breaking the connection if you accidentally bump the Timer. I only wish that I had purchased this Timer a long time ago!

This is the perfect sprinkler timer, it was extremely easy to set up and works perfect with our lawn sprinkler. Our early vegetable and flower garden flourished when we went away on a 3-week vacation. My only recommendation is to make the couplings metal or a high quality material. I was extremely careful with the installation to ensure that I do not crack the unit. It is dependable, convenient and efficient and I highly recommended this product to friends and family.

installation and settings were easy, I’m using 4 pcs since a week and they work fine according to my irrigation timings, no leakage and it can handle strong water pressure

I ordered 2 of these. They worked very well all summer.Pretty straightforward programming and reliable operation.Much cheaper than the Rainbird equivalent and a better interface IMHO

De verdad estoy impresionada, no tenía expectativas muy altas de este producto, pensaba que, su calidad seria malisima y que el producto se vería super corriente al punto que se vería chafa; Me quedo callada por que en verdad el producto viene muy empaquetado, y al momento de sacarlo de la caja quedo impresionada de la calidad del equipo, aun falta probarlo espero continúe con la misma calidad.
