I love this swimsuit. Based on the reviews of other people though (which was mixed) and also on the sizing chart I went one size up from my normal size. After putting it on I thought it was a bit loose for a swimsuit. It wasn't loose enough to look bad though or to lose functionality (the halter is an adjustable tie back, so I just pulled it tighter to keep it from coming down. There are some things to take into consideration though. I noticed in the reviews, there were a number of people who thought that it was loose around the chest. I have a larger bust so, that actually came as a relief to me. I'm normally a size 12 which the sizing chart says is an XL, but do to the reviews of others, I played it safe and got the next size up, XXL/14. Like I said it was a touch loose, a size down (my normal size) would have been a perfect fit. However, I have a DD bust and large hips, I would say that if you are an A, B, or even a small C, you could actually go down a size in order for the cups to fit right and the rest of the swimsuit wouldn't be too tight. I guess it really all depends on your body, but I would definitely say that the swimsuit fits curvy body types as expected, but other body types could go down a size from normal to get the right fit. Which is strange, it's usually the other way buying swimsuits online, which is why I went a size up, but I'm not complaining. I'm going to keep the one I have because it's not too loose. But I'm considering buying the blue one in my normal size. If I do I'll wright another review for that one to compare how each size fits.

I am 6' tall, size 16 pants, 38B bra. The size XL fit perfectly. I had to do a little shimmy to slide the suit over my hips, but that's normal in a bathing suit. The ruching on the tummy was flattering and there is a solid panel of control fabric lining the front (I had my doubts, I usually go for a suit with some heavy-duty tummy control), the backside has full coverage, the back comes up high to hold the top in place well, the straps were long enough to adjust easily for a shorter or longer torso. For about $25 I was impressed- the fabric feels like good quality (beach umbrella print), the seams are sturdy (although somewhat more bulky than the average suit). There was a slight plastic-y smell right out of the box, but not bad. The top of the suit has soft molded cups, which I found flattering and supportive- I am not sure if they would be enough for someone with a larger cup size, but they looked good on me. It does not have underwire or boning in the chest.I did not find that the legs were long enough to give a micro-short look (as the pictures show), rather they looked just about like any low-cut legs. The ruching on the tummy is not loose, so it does not stretch and slide around when wet.

This is a nice looking swimsuit. It's particularly flattering for anyone with a larger tummy, waist, and hips and bust. The front is shirred around the stomach area and the boy leg covers the hips and rear. The boy legs are short. They don't extend down the thighs. For anyone that is hippy and finds regular 1 piece suits don't offer enough coverage, this one will. The bust area is defined and shows off cleavage. The breast pads are sewn in. They won't move around while wearing. I swim in a bra. so this is not an issue for me; but the bra area offers enough room and support for B, C, and D cups. There's not enough room in the pads for DD's and above. The suit itself has enough fabric for D+ sizes, but it won't give the support.This suit is suited for the beach. It's sewn nicely, but the fabric is very thin. It doesn't have a lot of stretch and recovery. The chlorine in the pools will quickly have this suit losing it's shape and integrity. If swimming regularly in the pool, this will only last about 6 months. I currently wear a size 18. . Based on the reviews, I purchased the 3x, which is supposed to fit a size 16. It's too big in the waist and stomach. I have a larger waist and stomach, and average hips. . It doesn't hold like a typical swimsuit. I'm keeping it, because it serves my purpose for now. For anyone. size 18 with a more defined waistline, it will really be too large. The 2x/14 US would have been a better fit for me. Definitely, size down.The pattern is vibrant.

First off, let me say that the sizing is crazy. In no way, shape, or form do I wear a size 16, or a size 3x, but I guess according to these people, I do! I am 5'3", 250 lbs, a size 38D, with a VERY large rear end. My measurements are 48", 42", 52". Normally an 16-18 up top and a 20 on bottom. This suit is sexy, flattering, fits like a dream, minimizes the fool out of my tummy, and doesn't make me feel like I'm walking around half naked. It is worth every blessed cent I paid and I plan on purchasing more in other colors. The only "issue" is that the cups are preformed to a very strange shape and most likely wouldn't work for someone with a larger chest. The width of the cup is fine, but they are very deep and the top of the cup is pushed down to where it is nearly parallel with the floor. It works for me, though! Super in love with this suit!

This is a stylish swimsuit and very flattering, I ordered another one in blue. Fit perfectly.

I have been looking for a vintage bathing suit that wouldn't make me self-conscious in front of other people at the beach or lakes. I like that the cut covers up the bum and flatters my curves. I don't like to show my belly and the effect of the bathing suit in that part is a great one. I took my measurements and chose the size from that, and it was a perfect fit.

I haven’t gotten to try it out yet, but it fits fairly well. A bit big in the bust for me, but the halter strap helps the fit. It has a nice shape. I’m usually a 10, but I bought a medium just in case, and it fits well.
