Best of the wheelchair cupholders I've tried
I love that this cupholder folds up to be out of the way when we fold down my transport chair, and it is very sturdy. With the rubber pieces that they provide for you to put over the bar before screwing on the cupholder attachment, it makes sure that it is going to be very secure, not slip down the bar, and hold a good size drink holder. I always drink alkaline water and must have the water at room temperature. So I had to get a heavy metal water bottle that keeps temperature in winter and summer. The bottle is quite heavy and tall, and the cup holder has no trouble holding it and keeping it in place as I went around my house today and this evening after my husband helped me put it on. For those who have limited use of their hands, like me, you will probably need a second person to help you install it, as you have to hold the two sides of the arm clamp together and screw them to each other. It is easy install for someone without hand issues, but I needed an extra pair of hands. I believe this cup holder is well worth the money, even though it was a little higher price than a couple others I had in the past, as this one seems more sturdy, and I love that this one folds up.

MUST HAVE walker accessory.
This cup holder is a MUST-HAVE for anyone who uses a walker, but loves to keep a beverage nearby. My MIL was constantly trying to balance her drink on the seat of her walker, but then, BUMP, it fell over when she went through an entryway. Or she would steer with one hand and hold her drink in the other- thus negating the help of the walker! No go.The easiest way to install this cup holder is during initial assembly of the walker. However, even if it takes you a few extra minutes, this is absolutely the best accessory we purchased for convenience and utility. The plastic is not heavy-duty but, but it holds a full Tervis tumbler and has stood up to being popped open & closed and tossed into the back of the car many many times. I would definitely purchase again.

Works pretty well, but it's not perfect
On the plus side:Basically, it does the job. It can hold typical cans and bottles. That's good for me, because my rollator is easier to use if I don't have to carry a drink. The "arms" can be adjusted for containers of various sizes, from 2 1/4" to 3 3/4" in diameter. If you mount it on a tube that's not strictly vertical, you can rotate the holder into a horizontal position and fix it into that position.Mine has stayed firmly in place since I first installed it a few months ago.Potential negatives:The arm height is fixed at about 3 1/2". If you've got a shorter container, or if your container isn't a good diameter at that height, you're out of luck. You have to pinch the base of each arm to adjust it. Someone with poor grip strength would have trouble.A minor inconvenience is that you have to close the arms to 2 3/4" (or less) before you can fold it closed.Opened up, the holder projects 4 1/2" from the tube (and about 1/4" out on the opposite side). That would add to the overall width of my rollator if I had it facing outward, so I mounted it facing inward. That makes the seat a tighter fit, but at least I haven't made the rollator harder to navigate through narrow spaces.Folded up, the cup holder projects about 1 1/2" from the tube on the holder side (and still 1/4" on the opposite side). Fortunately, I can still fold up my rollator when the cup holder is closed up.My rollator uprights tilt backward, so the only way to get the cup holder horizontal was to mount it on the left or right side of the tube. If I mounted on the front or the rear of the tube, the base would always be tilted. In other words, once it's mounted on the tube, I can adjust its roll, but not its pitch or yaw.You can remount the cup holder in another location and you can change the horizontal adjustment, but you'll need your tools when you do.I've managed not to break the holder so far, but I suspect the arms or base might break if someone fell into them or otherwise hit them hard. It's just plastic.[updated to fix a couple of typos]

An Excellent Convenience Piece For My Rollator Walker!
I bought this cup holder in December 2014, and I bought it to put on a Hugo Rollator Walker. Installation of the cup holder was relatively easy, and it did fit perfectly. I have used it now for 1 1/2 years, so I can easily say, "It works great", for carrying all typical drink bottles/cans and for drinking cups taller than 4 inches. It is easily hand-adjustable for the various sizes, including the larger fast-food cup sizes. I have used this walker extensively, but thus far this cup holder has not needed to be retightened! When the cup holder is not in use, it folds up nicely. This cup holder can/does really make life easier for those of us who use a rollator type walker. And yes, this cup holder is designed to attach to a walker with round tubes.I would strongly recommend this cup holder for anyone who has such need for a cup older with their round-tube walker!!!

NOT as Advertised
Product no longer matches the pictures and significantly reduced quality.I've been ordering these cup holders for about 10 years to mount on my wheelchair. I ordered these in February 2025 and they have completely changed the design. It is lower quality, the adjustable arms are much harder to adjust, the connection points has more slop, and it clearly no longer matches the listing or even the box it came in. Do Not purchase these if you expect them to be of the same quality of previous years.
