E36 E46 Shock Mount Rear Upper (x2 mounts) OEM by Lemfoerder

When you get a Lemforder part ... reviews is useless, i never had any bad experience with Lemforder before.Those mounts are very strong, holds in place perfectly, but you have to take care when installing them in your car because if you do it wrong the mounts will fail in 2 weeks or less.To install it right make sure you have all the parts you need .. i will write down all the parts you need here in order from the bottom to the top :1- Shock Mount Washer Shim2- Cup washer " the cup faces downside "3- The mount itself4- Joint Plate " it's a washer "5- Locking nutyou can use a dust cap but it's optional and doesn't affect the performance since the top washer is doing the same purpose .Remember .. if you forgot to use a cup washer facing down underneath the mount .. your mounts will fail very soon .

Great oem parts.. does not come with gaskets.. but I used silicone on top of them instead for a better water seal so no big deal.. install was a breeze.. no more thumping on bumps.m

I am sure the product is going to be fine if the post office can figure out how to move it out of Fla.order placed on Friday...now Wed. and it is still at some random sort house there...what a joke.

Part broke within a week of normal driving (400 miles). Originals lasted 17 years. Not sure if just defective or poor quality. If the other one breaks, ill know.
