This is an excellent value for the money. I believe in repairing rather than throwing things away. I have a high quality cantilever umbrella and I have already done other repairs/refurbishing. I replaced the canopy with a high-quality Sunbrella fabric so, when the draw cord finally broke, I wanted to buy a GOOD replacement. When I found NOSTAFY Outdoor Patio Umbrella Cord Line Nylon Rope and read the reviews, I was fairly confident that I was buying a high-quality product. The 2-cord package was promptly delivered, I was impressed with the quality and robustness of this replacement cord. Yes, it is slightly larger in diameter than the one I replaced but, it worked great for my umbrella. Chances are it is going to last a lot longer too! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that has the determination and desire to do their own repairs. Now I have an extra cord and then some. I don't expect this one to break for a long time so, I will have to find something else to do with this excellent nylon cord. Thanks!

Returned the item, didn't need.

I have an umbrella with a pull cord to raise the canopy (it is not the kind that has a handle to turn to raise the canopy). This product is more like a cord than a rope. Not what I expected. But, I installed it an it seems to work fine. It seems strong and like it will be durable.

Hi AllFirst let me say the cords I received 2 per package, looks great for the price.Second I just ordered the best deal on Amazon for a umbrella cord replacement.Mistake ( My Own ) I didn't think to check the cord size of the broken cord.Yes, I could have returned the oversize cord, but I grew up with the word ( improvise )I just drilled the cord pilot holes a bit larger so I could still use the cord on hand.Good luck, I saved about $200.00 replacing the whole Umbrella. retangular type 7'x10'' feetThank you Amazon 110 degrees in Az. yesterday. I have replaced previously broken patio umbrella cords, but have struggled with the 3/16" nylon cords from nearby hardware stores. This cord, which I purchased in the 20ft length, was the perfect size, just under 3/16". In fact, I only needed about 8-9 ft, so I still have the 2nd 20ft cord and about 12 ft left over from the first of two 20ft cords in the package. I'll be able to repair 3 more times when this newest cord wears out.

We originally purchased this rope to fix or broken umbrella, but that didn't work, but it did work beautifully to suspend our sunshade.

Absolute garbage. When I got around to using it I realized how incredibly weak this cord is. I was able to snap it in my hands. Had planned to use it for a patio umbrella. Plan aborted. Huge waste of money.

Replaced broken patio umbrella cord with this. Worked perfectly. Hardest part was feeding it through the umbrella stand.
