HERB PHARM Propolis Extract, 1 FZ

This is the same product brand I was buying at a local health store until a tornado destroyed the building last year. After gargling with Listerine, I dry the canker with a tissue or Q tip, then apply some drops of the tincture and keep the patch dry for about 30 seconds. I may do this several times a day if the canker is severe. It will usually heal in one to three days. I have been using this treatment for about 20 years; BTW, tincture of propolis for cankers was recommended by Andrew Weil.

I found a reference to propolis tincture in an herbal book. It is indicated for allergies, among other things. For several days in a row I put 3 drops on my tongue once a day. My allergies have cleared up a lot. I have stopped the coughing and itching brought on from being outside. My husband did not take this, and he is still with symptoms. I just bought this again to send to my daughter. In working with tinctures for years I have found rarely that I needed to take as much as is indicated on the bottle. Start with a low dose. Herb Pharm is always a good choice. I will keep using this.

This is a product that actually works for several problems. I, myself was having a problem with a toe nail growing back. Not even a prescription drug worked. But using this for a week. My nail started growing back. I applied it directly to my toe.

I had other similar products in the past, but this one has such a horrible taste that I had to spit it out right away. I had a feeling like it burned my tongue. Do not recommend.

Herb pharm used to have one of the best propolis tincture in the market (and I tried at least 10 of them.). Over the last 3 years quality has been degrading over time until you don’t feel much propolis anymore in the product...you can tell by its very light transparent color, unlike real propolis which has very dark opaque color...which means that it has been diluted with too much alcoholic (or other). There are still descent options out there but not as good as what herb pharm propolis used to be 4-5 years ago

I like this for treating colds and viruses of all types. It seemed to shorten the length of time I am sick.
