More effective than Chinese herbs and Sam-E
I've been drinking this for about a week, and I noticed a difference on the first day.I had anxiety and low energy and was irritable, easily frustrated and even awkward, for over a year. A lot of people didn't know I struggled with this, because I put on a good face for work and friends. But at home, I could have been a less frustrated spouse. I had logical reasons for my irritable moments and felt that if I had more time to keep on top of my responsibilities, I would be happier. But I continued to struggle to reach that point. Would I ever get there? I wasn't convinced. I didn't want to waste years of my life missing out on opportunities.I tried other herbs, including Chinese herbs and Sam-E prescribed by my acupuncturist. They had worked, but it was an effort to keep up with 10 capsules/pills a day, plus all the appointments. Then I found this. I liked the idea of drinking a tea, which I can easily do at work.I noticed a difference on the first day, which was a weekend. It wasn't so noticeable that I actually felt something. But I realized later in the day that I wasn't getting frustrated and was more open to suggestion and conversation from my spouse. I was highly productive and have been every day since day 1. I am very satisfied with this. Not only am I no longer frustrated, but I have the energy to accomplish the things that seemed like such obstacles before. It seems that negative thoughts used to linger, and sometimes I would dwell in them. Now they don't even surface. I'm able to work toward improving my life by getting things done, and it all seems attainable. Wow.As for taste, it's not terribly bad or good. It's fine. I'm drinking it for bigger reasons than taste. =)

Best I've found yet
Seems like St. John's Wort tea is hard to find in stores where I live. Extracts in various forms are everywhere, but I wanted just the pure plant to make tea. At first I almost bought a similar product because it was more popular on Amazon, and because it was from a brand I recognized, but I didn't like that included several other herbs, as well as St. John's Wort extract. Anyway, this is the first time I've taken SJW in tea form, and so far I haven't noticed any effects. However, I just started drinking the tea and I figure it will take a number of days kick in. Overall I really enjoy the tea. I assumed it would taste terrible (I was imagining senna, if you've ever tried that), but actually I like the taste, even without sweetener. To me it tastes somewhat like a mix of chamomile and spearmint. The company seems to be really committed to producing a high quality product and delivering the best possible customer service, which I really appreciate. I guess the only negative comment I can make is that the product is made in eastern Europe. That in and of itself is not a bad thing—I just try to buy everything I can as locally as possible.

Nature's Antidepressant
After dealing with severe depression for a number of years, I was told by my doctor that they were recommending antidepressants. I started researching natural remedies in an effort to keep unwanted chemicals out of my body, and I found that St. John's Wort has been shown to be as effective as antidepressants in clinical trials. I started taking SJW capsules, but I needed 6-9 pills a day to get the recommended 1900 mg of the herb, depending on brand. After the first bottle I was fed up, so I went back to the drawing board. I found tinctures (expensive), dried herbs (inconvenient), other tea brands (mixed with unwanted crap and filler herbs), and THIS. Buddha's Herb tea is quite literally a lifesaver. One tea bag gives me 2000mg of SJW herb, with no fillers or added flavor herbs. It comes in eco-friendly packaging, it's delivered to my door free with Prime, and it's the cheapest, most effective vehicle for consistent SJW delivery. I LOVE this tea, and will continue to purchase it for as long as it's available.

Suspicious about it
Does anyone else get stomach aches after drinking this? I tried a few times and my stomach was hurting . I had tea before (not this brand) was organic, but it never caused any discomfort. I don’t know what to think about it. Not working for me so far.

Calming and supportive
I have trouble winding down and relaxing and also ADHD. Buddha's Herbs St. John's Wort Tea is tasty and definitely relaxing. I like to use 1 tea bag of St. John's Wort Tea with 1 tea bag of Sleepy Time Extra. I take it 1 hour before bedtime and watch some calming tv or read and I can fall asleep within 30 mins or less.I also enjoy reading the info on the box. Buddha's herb tea picked and processed with utmost care and love.

Is definitely serotonergic (like Prozac)
To start with, St. John's wort is serotonergic like Prozac, and it's regulated in some countries. St. Johns wort pills are too strong for me, even at 1/4 of the lowest does available. (SSRIs cause a similar reaction, but worse.)I wanted to try a tea, because I thought it might be less intense. I drank 1 cup of this/day for three days, and felt a definite mellowing effect without negative side affects. I took a day off (forgot). When I had tea on day five, I felt side affects before I finished the cup. I suspect it builds up in your system like SSRIs, making later "doses" more effective. So it's for real. It mellows. But you should be aware that it really is serotogenic and can cause side affects.
