BoironCalendula Gel, 1.5 Ounce (Pack of 3), Homeopathic Medicine for Skin Irritation and Burns

This is the BEST product to use when going through Radiation Treatments for cancer. Someone on the cancer FB page recommended this gel (not the cream) to me. It melts the second you put it on your skin, spreads easy and dries without that sticky feeling. Really helps in keeping your skin moisturized which is very important when going through radiation. You apply it 3 times a day, just not the 6 hours before your treatment.I am 10 days into radiation of 34 treatments and my Oncologist says my skin is doing very well. I showed her the tube I had in my cancer bag and she said she was going to try and get some samples for the cancer center. I hope she can, I go through a tube a week.

Calendula's healing qualities are widely known and I was glad to come across this particular product. It became indispensable recently when my mother suffered a Sulphuric acid burn at the chemical lab where she works. Calendula's gel made the heeling process considerably faster, far exceeding the average healing rate explained by the wound care specialist. I am very impressed. If the product work this well in extreme cases like my mother's 2nd degree burns, I can only imagine how well it will work under more "normal" conditions.

Boiron is an excellent quality product and calendula is good to have handy for a burn, skin irritation, a scratch or even an itch. I keep this and arnica gel from Boiron always handy as part of my first aid kit.

Great for calming the radiation burn. I like the gel because it is less messy on clothing and absorbs more quickly in the skin.

Works Excellent! Used it for "Radiation Burns" after cancer treatments! But it also works great on sunburns & it is also safe to use for children!
