This review is a follow-up to my un"bagging" review. I purchased these beans to make in my Instant Pot and reduce the unnecessary sodium and recycling that often comes with canned beans. I was able to make them (unsoaked) in my Instant Pot on high pressure for 40 minutes with 10 minute natural release. Absolutely perfect. We ate them toasted as a snack and my favorite way is with mustard, dill, water chestnuts, celery and onion. The perfect vegan non tuna salad. The beans have a great texture and taste and I will be buying more. 5 STARS! The rag bag is so cute and I can see me using it as a clothes pin bag or something else in the greenhouse. So cute!

These chickpeas are great! nice and clean, and cook up very well for hummus or other dishes.

I've bought the 3 and 5 lb bags of these multiple times now. I cook them in my pressure cooker, so they're fresh and very tasty.I can cook them to the level that I need. Very soft for a paste or spread. Fully cooked but firm for serving as is, like on a salad. A littler firmer if they're going to go into another dish like a chana saag to be cooked again.The quality and flavor is excellent.

I was making falafels and hummus and was needing some chickpeas, I came across these and was pleasantly surprised of how good the quality was. They a had a good color, and I liked the packaging. My falafels and hummas came out great will be buying again.

I soak them overnight and they begin to sprout.I rinse them, and eat them raw or add them to foods at the last minute just to warm them.If you want to use them sooner then cook them.They are really big, like 1/2" across.I've never encountered any debris in the bag.I also get their most delicious peas and lentils.Same thing, excellent quality, no debris in the bag.I really like the peas, best pea flavor I've ever experienced.Thanks

Good Garbanzos and I love the cloth bag they came in, however I knocked a star off for not being organic. Come on we need to regulate how much pesticide/herbacide we put in our food and into the ground water! Despite this though I will buy them again. I would even pay a little more for organic but I can't find organic garbanzos even at my local grocery store, so I guess I will have to live knowing that I am probably consuming roundup. I will probably save the bags to protect my tools from dust among so many other uses for cloth bags.

I received these beans and initially thought "oh no!! They are small and the last ones I bought from a bulk bin at a store I won't name never got soft and were crunchy and tasteless"BUT these beans are delicious! Soft fresh and creamy...they are so good I wish I had gotten the 5 pound bag...buy these...they are the best you will ever taste or find!!!

A very good chick pea. My results using them are uniformly good. I choose to order this product online because grocery store chickpeas on the shelf (when you can find them at all) may have been sitting there for a long time. I don't live near to a Middle Eastern grocery store, where shelf turnover might be faster, so I purchase a lot of the products I need online. I've been very happy with the hummus and falafel I have made with these chickpeas, so I see no reason to change suppliers. Delivery has been prompt and the packaging is clean. I feel the price is fair for a premium product. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to make Middle Eastern specialties from scratch!
