Perfect for the price
Before buying this, I read a lot of reviews that people were complaining that this item is flimsy, of course it is, it's made from thin wood and paper, just like all fans. It's supposed to be flimsy!The price is perfect and it's as sturdy as it needs to be. If you're looking for anything stronger than you're not really looking for a fan, you're looking for something to pose with. This is a fan to help you stay cool and it doesn't heat up like the plastic ones do.Do I recommend this? Yes, I do!

Hot flashes
I had a colleague at work who brought the same and she uses it when she gets hot. I thought that was brilliant and my mom is going through menopause so she’s having hot flashes so I thought you know what she needs one of these fans. I got it and it was absolutely amazing. She loves it and carries it in her bag. Couldn’t be happier and the quality is pretty good for a great price.

Great product but just be careful that the handle may give you splinters!

Cheaply made, both fell apart after first use
I bought these fans for me and my 17 yr old daughter to use to dry our skin care and makeup. My daughter used her's first, and as soon as she opened it, the pin that held it together, (where the fan pivots open at the bottom), fell out and the fan fell apart. I attempted to fix it twice thinking shewas forcingit open incorrectly but I realized the pin was malformed and didn't have a stopper on the end to prevent it from falling out again. We threw it away. The next day i attempted to use my fan and it fell apart too. Same thing. In hindsight, I wish i would've kept the first one so i could've returned the set. Might be ok for a wall decoration but there are prettier and more well-made fans if that's what you want them for. Don't waste your money on these.

Good, but has splinters
Honestly better quality than I expected. Have used it on night outs and has done its job. Downside is that the bamboo can leave splinters on your fingers. As long as you don’t rub the bamboo it probably won’t happen but good to know

Last a long time!
I got these for comic-con and my sister and I carry them everywhere now and use them constantly! They have held up great!
