Style Name:Kombucha Kit Directions 1. Make sure to wash your hands well and the entire work area with piping hot water to avoid contamination. 2. Take 1 Litre water in a pot and bring it to a boil. Add 4 tbsp (60g) sugar and 2 tbsp regular tea to the water. (You could add more tea if you like your Kombucha strong.) Sieve and keep aside. 3. Make sure you leave it to bring it to room temperature or till it is completely cooled down. 4. Rinse a wide mouth glass jar with hot water. You can also mix a little white vinegar with water and clean the jar. (Optional) Fill the jar with the freshly prepared cool tea. Carefully add the Mother SCOBY and the starter tea. 5. Cover the jar with a thick cheesecloth or coffee filter, tightly covered with a rubber band. 6. Culture in temperatures between 20 – 29 degrees for 7-15 days, depending on how strong you like your Kombucha. Your Kombucha is now ready to drink. 7. A new baby SCOBY will form on top of the jar. You can repeat the process with the baby SCOBY and the prepared Kombucha as your starter culture.

AMAZING experience
Rarely does one have an AMAZING experience with online purchases. This was was a complete exception for me.Had purchased a SCOBY and was pleasantly surprised by the product's packaging, its look and feel, and very easy to comprehend instructions. Being a first time Kombucha brewer, I found this product unique and very enabling. Despite a very healthy SCOBY and the immaculate instructions, my first attempt at brewing Kombucha was a failure. I shared a few pictures of the brew with the seller and got a very prompt response. I found their response extremely friendly, positive and reassuring. Their guidance on next steps was extremely helpful.Without even asking for a second SCOBY, i was sent one. Despite wanting to pay for it, i was very politely offered a complementary product. Although they have a great product, the real game changer is their customer relations. I wish I could reveal the name of the awesome person in their customer relations team who helped me with prompt responses to numerous queries, very friendly demeanour, extremely helpful tips and guidelines to ensure brewing success, proactive communication - to reach out to me on her own to check if I needed more help.This is customer relations 101. She should be teaching in a management school. I have learnt a lot from this experience (I thank her for this customer relations lesson also).In summation, I have been able to brew Kombucha successfully. I give her all the credit. Anyone looking to brew Kombucha should get their product - you will not regret it at all.

Started my Own Fermentation Station
I'm really brand new to the concept of Kombucha brewing. Previously had got a SCOBY from a friend who was travelling to India, but I somehow managed to forget about it for months and it got spoilt.This time I was careful and the first batch turned out to be FLAWLESS. A beautiful baby SCOBY grew on top and the Kombucha was simply delicious. I'm currently brewing and on the third day of my second fermentation with Fresh Strawberries and Grapes. I also made a second batch with the baby SCOBY scoby and plan to do a continuous brew.Over and all - Amazing Packaging and Instructions. (They triple sealed the packet and then double packed it on a bed of packaging scraps.) The instruction sheets have a small table to record your brew which is so helpful.A handwritten note on a fermentation jar along with a certificate of Adoption of your new pet which is the SCOBY came along which is the reason they deserve one additional star than 5.Had a few questions about IBS and Kombucha drinking and contacted their customer support and wow their very helpful. Doubt I could've gotten a good start without this product.Ps. My family has been loving it so much, I bought a Kombucha Deluxe Kit from these guys, Greek Yogurt and Kefir starter. Couldn't be happier with this company. I've been promoting them to friends and family so much, I should ask them for commission. :D Haha. Already made 5 purchases with them and started my own fermentation station at home.

I've been looking to make Kombucha for a very long time. The ones available online in India have easily caught mold or leaked when they reached me. This has been such a pleasant surprise.Pros1. The packaging is simply impressive.2. The kit came with a very healthy scoby and a lot of starter tea.3. The instructions were detailed, and easy to understand.4. The stick on thermometer is not available anywhere else.5. The cutest fermentation cap with polka dots and pompoms really got a smile to my face.6. Allright. It also came with an adoption certificate. Brownie points and loyalty points for this one.7. Came with excellent quality tea and sugar8. Literally arrived the next day.9. Total value for money.Cons.Can't think of any. Good enough to push me to write a review.Didn't order the deluxe kit with the bottles.

I'm impressed.
I got the SCOBY from Prerna as I wanted to brew a suitable replacement for soft drinks. I followed the instructions and it was easy as 1,2,3. I contacted the seller when I had queries and got a prompt response.I let my tea brew for way too long and it has turned sour. But that is my fault. I should have checked it after 4 days. The brewing process depend on various factors like temperature, brand of sugar etc. Now I have lots of starter tea and one extra SCOBY has grown so I can start 2 more batches. Fingers crossed.
