Great shoes for toe walking but it's important to set expectations based on your child's problem. My 4.5 year old has been through physical therapy to stretch her tendons and then fitted for SMO braces but they were painful for her to wear and we could barely use them for 2 hours a day. Her toe walking is idiopathic so we do not expect the shoes to correct the problem but they are definitely helping to retrain her. The stiff heel and ankle serve as a "reminder" when she tries to go up on toes because it takes effort. The shoes are comfortable so she will wear them morning until night without complaining - they are not hot or sweaty, there is no pinching anywhere, they provide good support, keep her in alignment, and she doesn't trip while running or playing. It's easy for her to toe walk in regular shoes and she would frequently fall while running/jumping but these keep her stable and more balanced. We have had no falls in these shoes :) The sole has some cushion and you can see how it forms slightly to her foot. Measure accurately, order the appropriate size listed in the chart and the fit should be good. My child has a narrow petite foot but the straps allow for a good adjustment. There is still a little gap on the sides but the material is soft and there is no chafing. In normal shoes I would order a 9 but in these, a size 8 fits with a bit of room for growth. Quality is very good and I will definitely order again because this has been an awesome alternative for the painful braces. It's not a replacement for every condition and I don't know if the results would have been the same if we hadn't gone through physical therapy but it's working for her needs. She's definitely walking less on toes when barefoot, as long as we stick to daily wear and that's half the battle - for a child who hates wearing any shoes and complains about the seam in a sock, she's keeping these on and that says a lot!

I bought these shoes for my little granddaughter. She is a bit bow legged and I was hoping that a good pair of shoes like this would help her legs to straighten out. Mom and dad do not have the money to buy them so grandmom did and I am already noticing a difference in her walk. The bottom of the shoe shows you all the care that has gone into the making of these shoes. These things help her to walk more correctly and over time i think they will help in correcting her legs. They are super well made and not as heavy as "orthopedic" shoes of the past have been and the stereotypical conotation of "orthopedic" is not anymore. They also cute and stylish for any little girls wardrobe. Thanks so much for providing a product that could and is helping my lil sweetheart!

My 5 year old does not have the best coordination. These sandals are a game changer for us! The material is very durable, and holds up quite well. We did a day at the zoo, and with all his jumping around, kneeling and walking, the sandals stayed in place. He said they were comfortable and he liked them alot better than his other sandals he has. They were also easy for him to get on and off, and the straps stayed nicely in place. These are well worth the buy!

We were looking for a summer sandal for my toddler and I believe we chose the perfect pair! I ordered them a little big because she’s between sizes and I wanted her to wear them for a good while. The delivery and packaging were quick and appealing! She was running everywhere in these shows and the quality and durability are great. They don’t leave red marks (most shoes blister her feet.) they seem to be very comfortable for her! I’m so happy we chose these! Worth every penny! Thank you!

I absolutely love these shoes!They are so cute, comfortable and fit true to size. They go with everything, slip resistant, orthopedic and she can put them on and take them off by herself. Really soft leather that stretches very easily and requires almost no breaking in.

So far so good, great fit. Very comfortable on my 3yr old son. Also getting LOADS of compliments people love the style. It’s totally adorable on my sons feet. Oh and his twin sister wants one too, so I definitely have to get her one. Lol

Top-quality leather footwear at a good price. The best thing about these shoes is that they are orthopedic. The sole is super comfy, and the leather is soft. My kid wears these shoes both in the kindergarten and outdoors. Our family has been a TWIKI fan for quite some time now! The only thing to mention is that TWIKI’s size table is different from those of other well-known brands.
