Two Early Vampire Tales: John Polidori's The Vampyre & J. Sheridan Le Fanu's Carmilla

These two stories are historically important to the rise of the vampire genre of fiction. They are both still readible and enjoyable. Be aware that the literary style at the time was, to be kind, embellished, using many more words and clauses than modern literature. (Do not get lost in the long sentences and reams of detail.) Rather, let your spirit enjoy the mastery of prose that few of us in the 21st century could even attempt to imitate.

The book is printed nicely and great quality paper, the stories are great ! I will buy more from this printing house.

Le storie in sè mi sono piaciute, ma il modo in cui sono state scritte è un po' deludente in alcuni passaggi.Lo consiglierei perché comunque sono dei classici della letteratura fantastica.

Ottimo libro, mi servivano proprio queste 2 storie per la mia tesi. Quindi per me è stato un affare trovarle insieme a questo prezzo!
