I needed a grommet tool kit to install grommets on a bucket hat. I've never installed grommets before. I pciked this kit because it came with a separate hole punch kit. The included hole punch kit made the process easier. Besides what was included with the kit, I only needed my own hammer to punch the holes with the hole punch kit. The items did not come with a manual or tutorial, but I found a bunch of tutorials on YT that were easy to understand and follow. The pliers were easy to use and didn't need much force. For an inexpensive kit, this grommet tool kit is a good deal.

I bought this grommet tool specifically to squeeze out another year or two of use for my above ground pool winter cover. After a couple of years the original grommets start to tear away from the fabric and then I can’t hang chlorine jugs from them anymore (to keep cover on tight during the winter). This grommet tool fixes that problem perfectly. I just slap on a new grommet near the old failed one and hang the jugs using the new grommet. The only complaint is regarding the side tool they provide to cut out the material in the middle of the grommet once it’s attached. It is cumbersome and doesn’t fit very well. I just use an awl and poke a hole in the fabric with that. So far…durability appears to be fine, function is spot on, and they give you a substantial amount of grommets. Recommended.

For the price works very well. They give you plenty of grommets. Tool is not completely on center. Helps if you tighten up all the nuts on the tool to make it more solid which helps make each grommet better formed

I used this to make wind screens for my screened porch for the winter. I needed to put grommets in clear vinyl to put up over my screened porch to winterize it. I have nerve damage and my hands give me a lot of trouble so punching grommets manually wasn't a viable option. This tool made it a breeze! I wish I had other things to put holes in! I did run out of the thick vinyl I was using and had to use some thinner plastic to finish the job. I was concerned the grommets wouldn't grasp onto it but I just doubled the plastic and the tool secured the grommets perfectly. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs to put multiple grommets in anything.

This is a fine tool, that has allowed me to perform the task that the tool was made for. I have at this time installed over 40 grommets to reinforce tarping on our chicken run. It will serve this and comparable purposes for years to come.

After buying a cheap grommet tool that wouldn’t even work on paper, I was very pleased when I bought this one and it worked perfectly. The goal was to make my own corset top. Mission accomplished! The material was not very thick and this cut through it with ease. I also didn’t have to apply immense pressure to stamp the grommets closed, which was nice on my hands! I would definitely recommend!

This grommet maker was so easy to use and created durable grommets. The kit included a number of pieces at a great price. It looks great and works well.

It's a easy to use, sturdy little tool. I used it to put extra grommets on my boat cover. Worked out perfect for me.

I have tried it a couple of times - but was not impressed with the outcome. But this was justlack of practice plus the photo on Amazon for this product showing how to place the grommet is not clear.The tool is great and does the job properly. The photos show how to place the grommet, then you must press firmly to get a good result.

I received this tool after waiting a longer time than normal for an Amazon item ,several times almost giving up waiting and opting for a local product that may or may not do the job I want donehowever patience prevailed and I was using it 20 minutes after receiving it and it was worth waiting for it as it was the easiest I have ever used (not the I have used one before) and finished the job in 20 minutesand looked great as well as functioned as expectednow if only I can get different size attachments for it I can do a lot more
