I am using this product to detox, and I am impressed by how finely ground it is, and how easily it mixes in liquid.

Pure and fine. Perfect for Goth Lemonade. Effective detox and great pregame before a industry wine tasting. It actually helps prevent drunkenness if taken in advance.

This was a huge disappointment. The packaging is beyond awful. I thought that the charcoal would be in the gold package which is easy to open and close.Nope. It comes in a small plastic bag with slide closure, which is in a gallon sized (maybe even a little bigger) ziplock bag. The charcoal is overfilled in small bag. As soon as you open it charcoal powder spills out. At least the big catches it. The big problem is that a soon as you open it these bags won’t fit back in the gold one. I was looking for something compact and tidy. The second time I tried to use more charcoal spilled making it very messy. To make this work I would have needed to purchase a jar.The charcoal did not mix well. When making my serum and face wash it just clumped up and refused to mix. It was not useable. I don’t know why that happened. I ended up wasting a bunch of aloe, witch hazel, and essential oil. At least I was able to return it.

It is a good product, I just worked in a soap making project and the product worked very well, I definetly Will buy again to this store. I really liked it, this is going to last me for forever.Note: if you're using this to pigment anything such as soap, a little goes a LONG way! So add a tiny bit at a time :)

Secure and tight packaging. The powder is super fine which is exactly what I’m looking for because I use it for DIY cosmetic.

Charcoal flavor is nasty no matter how you spin it so I don't flavor is something we should be rating. The charcoal is ground super fine and easy to blend. It's also easy to stain so be very careful. I put some in a drink and use it for face masks as well and it's good for all things it can be used for. Packaging was good but I put mine in a mason jar because it's still messy to reopen the bag over and over.
