H&N Excite Plinking Wadcutter Pellets

These pellets are pretty accurate for being advertised for planking. Hand holding a pistol I can get inch to 3/4 of an inch at 10 yards shooting CO2 cartridge powered air guns.

These pellets are very well made and none had an obvious defect or mold line. These pellets are what my Umarex Octane prefers shooting and I have been able to achieve incredible accuracy (I'm able to hit something about the size of a .50 cent piece consistently at about 25 yards with the standard open sights). Each pellet fits easily into the breach of my Octane and I have yet to find an over or undersized pellet. The wadcutter design of these pellets will also limit penetration of your backstop when a pellet of a different design would have penetrated. Even though these pellets are relatively light for a lead .22 pellet they are still able to pack quite a punch. These pellets are accurate enough that they could be used for short range hunting ( up to 25 yards) on thin skinned small game such as squirrels and birds where fast energy transfer is more critical than extreme penetration. I will be buying more of these pellets when the time to stock up on pellets comes around.

Was looking for pellets for short range plinking, and target shooting. I shoot 5 and 10 meters with these, not super accurate, but acceptable.

The tin I received were all a loose fit in the breech of my Crosman Valiant. With some modification to expand the skirts, they went from an average 835 fps to 939 fps. Flaring the pellet skirts did accuracy no favors, though. They were also loose in a Crosman Shockwave. My experience is anecdotal, but two rifles had the same issue. So I tried my Crosman 2240 pistol and had the same results. They're light and fast, but only if you can get a tight seal in the breech. Otherwise they appeared to be good quality.

Leave a nice clean hole in a paper target. Accurate in most all of my guns.

with crosman's pellet manufacturing moving out of the USA the quality suffered and i had to find a new brand. this is my new favorite plinking pellet. the pellets are better than crosman's ever were and the price is excellent. wadcutters make shooting paper so much better and the destruction they cause to an empty soda can is much more satisfying.

Extremely disappointed. These pellets seemed to jam in the barrel and dropped well below the target. They are either a bit too large for my .177 cal Winchester air rifle or they are not perfectly round apparently. In either case, they are hard to seat in the breach and they seem to drag all the way down the barrel. I began to be concerned I could damage the rifling in the barrel so I stopped using them after about 4 shots. I bought the correct caliber -- .177 cal pellets -- but they just don't shoot well. HOWEVER, not to worry - H&N (the same company) makes a lead pellet called a "Sniper Magnum" in a 15 grain (as opposed to the 16.05 grain of the Rabbit Magnum). The "Sniper Magnum," which is also by H&N, is by far the best pellet I've ever shot and is pin-point accurate!

Ich habe ja schon viele Diabolos getestet aber die gehen richtig gut ab. Hohe Reichweite mit stabiler Fluglage, die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut, keine Verformungen oder Produktionsgrade an den Diabolos. Der Versand war schnell und sicher, ein "riesen" Karton mit kleinen Karton streifen, das war als ob man die Nadel im Heuhaufen sucht, somit verringern sich die Transportstösse und Druckschäden an den Diabolos.

They are fast and accurate if you use them in a pcp at 20 plus foot pounds great for rabbits or rats 🐀 stops them well good stopping power

Im mittleren Preissegment, jedoch sauber verarbeitet. Der Kelch ist tief, werden jedoch von meinen Magazinwaffen weit genug nach vorn geschoben. Erreiche gute Streukreise damit.
